Hayden stomped up the stairs to my office. I didn't bother to continue writing. If she came up here, there was a reason, and I doubted it would be quick and to the point. I loved working with her, she was amazing with my PR, but she wanted to talk everything to death. It would suit me just fine if she just made the decision and emailed me the information-not that I'd read the email.
I noticed the excitement that radiated from her as soon as she appeared in the doorway. "What's got you all in a tizzy?"
She rolled her eyes. "Do you ever look at a calendar?"
"Not unless I have to or I'm nearing a deadline. Why?"
"Today is the last day of casting for Prodigy." She was exasperated by my lack of interest in any of the movie details.
I just didn't give a shit about any of it. I was grateful they'd bought the rights, I loved that it hit the New York Times Bestseller List for seventeen weeks, but beyond how my fans reacted, I simply didn't care.
