Chapter 7: Help him

This is my first time to go outside the Terri Palace and I already have a bad feeling about this.

You can't enter the Moon library without an adult with you". Yeri was right. Ahh the power of my hands, I only wrote that because the villain Kelan grew up his childhood there. Oh I suddenly got goosebumps. I shivered, while Yeri dressed me a small cloak to cover my body and face. Because of my eyes, not just nobles can recognize me even the commoners and people who lives far away the imperial palace. Pink eyes was known for being a royalty. Yeri brought a small dagger, she is wise but a fool to her master. The people in the street was all busy. It was a bright and beautiful morning. I saw the places that I wrote, where the best bakery was located and where the heroine and the male lead secretly meet. It was an expensive bar for people with a ticket pass. Yeri hold my hand as we arrive at the Moon Library. There was a big gate and a garden. At the entrance, there was an old man who was guarding. Yeri showed her face to the guard, because of her face the man smiled and couldn't spoke, he step aside to let us enter. Yeri never smiled to anyone except for her master, Zarah. As we entered, the room was quiet and there was a lot of books according to it's size. On the second floor, there were several people sitting and standing while reading books.

"Yeri, I think you should wait here". I really need some time alone. "I'm afraid I can't do that, Your Highness. What if someone will approach you?" She always worried about me, I will make sure to treat you well, Yeri.

"That won't happen, I know I'm still a small child, but I will make sure no one will approach me." I still couldn't convince her, so we've come to this, huh? she was about to spoke.."Pretty please? Please just this once?" Yeah get that, she gave up and she bowed her head slightly. "Very well, Your Highness, Just shout if someone will approach you with ulterior motives." she could be scary sometimes. I smiled brightly, that was hard. I picked up the books related to all the empires. Since I'm small, I was having a hard time sitting. This. damn. body. Let's calm down, calm down. I suddenly got distracted because of a shout but more like an insult coming from a child. "You bastard, even your own family abandoned you because of your powers." I could hear them properly because I was near to the window and I'm the only one who can hear them. Since it's related to powers, I look outside the window and saw two boys and one girl bullying wearing a magician clothes, are they students? This brats, how dare they do that to a small child!

The boy that got bullied was small like me and the bullies were tall and bigger than us. The child didn't cry, instead he was just laying there getting kicked and laughed. There was another door from behind the library and stairs. I don't know anymore, all I know was I should help him. "I will help him". While running I suddenly remember the promise I made to Yeri earlier. "Don't worry, I will make sure no one will approach me". It's true that no one approached me, but now I'm on my way to approach someone. Forgive me, I just don't want someone who's weaker than the weak to suffer more than them, not with me witnessing it" I fixed my cloak to cover my eyes and hair. "Hey! how dare you bully him!" I shouted as I approach them. Well, they are big kids, did I make the right decision? Forget it, it was my choice to come here. The kids laughed at me like I'm some kind of joke. Yeah very funny, "Who the hell are you? are you hiding because your ugly?" This idiot.

"I bet she's just scared, Hahaha." The girl suddenly approach me while smiling. Yeah I can't run away, not anymore. She suddenly pushed me down. I tried to fix my cloak but they already saw my face. Their faces were shocked and I could tell that they were terrified. "Hey come on, let's go". the kids lost the smiles on their faces and left. The boy looks like a lost puppy who was abandoned by his own family. He looks just like me.

" Are you alright?" his body was covered with scars and he was dirty. "Those brats- why did they do that to you?" I hold his hand and saw bruises he didn't speak but stared at me.

"I'm sorry, I should've covered my face." Are you scared?" Gold? His eyes has the color of a shining gold and it was staring at me. His hair were like the sky at night and the shadow under the moonlight. He was beautiful, but his body was so tiny. "Pretty" he mumbled. While staring at my eyes he hold my hair slightly and zi suddenly felt a dark aura coming from him.

That's weird. But why does he feel so familiar?

"Thank you" Aghh he smiled sweetly. But this world, only pink, gold and red eyes are the only rare ones. Is he an important character?

Wait, is it because of this body that kept forgetting such small details? This. damn. body. again. This is where that murderer grew up! What to do? I only helped him. "What's your name?"I asked to make sure he's not- "Kelan Septimus" he answered.
