Chapter 34

The journey up the mountain was exhausting. The doorways only worked up to the foot of said mountain. For the rest of the path neither Miran nor Dorian had ever been too the top, so none of them had a clear visual of what it looked like. Halfway through, Reyna suggested that they take rest after seeing how the two were struggling to keep up.

The Guardians relied heavily on their powers and never put much effort when it came to physical training. Even as tired as she was Reyna knew that she could run up the remaining journey on command. The same could not be said for the two friends accompanying her. Compared to the other Guardians, Miran and Dorian were in better shape. Having fought with Miran, Reyna knew that they had more that average experience when it came to combat.
