Chapter 68

There were too many people around, and twice as much eyes staring. Miran's walls kept him shut in and for the first time he hated it. He couldn't tell Reyna how beautiful she was, not with the all nosy Guardians around them.

She had come in like a storm, head held high.

Behind her, the screen coloured the large room in blazing red and cold blue just like her hair and dress. But he wasn't able to get a good view of Reyna, Serena the demon tripped into his arms. By the time he was done checking her ankle that was clearly not injured in any way, Reyna was dancing with Dorian.

She laughed at something he said and Miran itched to know what they were talking about but Dorian was whispering close to Reyna. He was doing it on purpose, Dorian green-blue eyes found his full of mischief and something else. He would poke his eyes out the next they met. Dorian had left him to the demon while he went to dance and mock his fate.
