Luciana's gaze roamed around their surroundings and once she was certain that no one was nearby, she spoke to Esme, ''What did he say?"

Esme shifted her gaze from the Crystal Castle. She squatted and placed Leo on the ground.

The beast ran towards the castle, leaving Luciana and Esme alone.

Esme turned towards the woman, ''Lucian told me about Jeremiah.''

"The King has sent him to Norwell Manor to cultivate and he is not allowed to step outside. It is a punishment.''

''Punishment? Why?" Jeremiah might be only a few years older than her and her brother but Luciana knew that the man was responsible enough to be able to qualify as the King's heir apparent.

There was no way her uncle would be punished for making a mistake.
