At this moment, the doors to Esme's room opened as Aleister stepped inside.

''I have made all the arrangements for your journey,'' Aleister spoke to Adrian. His gaze shifted to Esme every once in a while, seeking some approval from her, ''Leo would have taken you there in a few nights but his condition does not allow him to,'' he glanced at the beast who was playing in bed.

Esme followed his gaze, ''Is Leo alright?'' She had been surprised when she heard about Leo's shapeshifting skills and more so, when she discovered that the beast was born with wings. She had not seen him in his true form but it was not hard for her to imagine how majestic he was.

Aleister even told her about Leo's past and everything that he discovered about the beast during his stay in heaven.

Ever since Leo sucked that witch's life's essence back in Visteria, he had become his younger self and she never saw him in his true form.
