WARM CLOUDS, HAZY STARS

Wind blew on the oceans' surface creating distortion what was once a calm surface. Although it made gentle waves that crashed on the shore where two people walked along on. A smile was etched on the others face as they walked on the path where the land meets the sea to witness how the Sun submerges slowly beneath the ocean.

"Quite peculiar isn't it?" France spoke as he gazed at the horizon. It was long yet ever since he got to admire such scenery which he almost forgot. Living the way he used to few days back took everything he had left which was the color that drained ever so slowly along with the uprising of his agony and the regression he had for the world. Never ought that a business partner will bring him back to a reality he tried so hard to forget.

Yvain hummed lightly as he gaze on the horizon, both his hands inside his pocket. The wind that blew on him was warm and fresh, something that he knew he needed for quite sometime now. All of this is what he needed from all of the days that was filled with sighs and stressful grunts. The sound of the waves crashing on the shore calmed him even more and took all of his baggage away momentarily.

Life would have been so nice if it had turn to be just like this. Everyone was minding their own business. Some are tending to their colleagues to whom they brought here with them, some are just procrastinating alone and everyone was just either wearing smiles or solemn yet peaceful faces. Life would have been great to be like this, Yvain thought deep inside his mind.

But as much as he wanted to believe,he would not be a fool of his own traps and delusions. Life can be like this but the moment that it can span in the same road they are is quite limited. He knew that this society was unjust and just plain cruel. These people who wore smile on their faces that may be deemed as kind can be the opposite in an instant. Unjust and cruel life can be, he knew but he must treasure moments like this for you never know when to get one again. Time is a tricky thing, fate is both cruel and the opposite but life? You mix the two and you get an unpredictable journey where you are faced with uncertainty and possible pain.

"You seem to be in deep thought." France spoke his gaze focused on the slightly shorter person beside him.

Yvain snapped out of his daze and looked at France. He spotted a bench just a few steps away thus he went over and sat before hoe looked back at France with a smile and came the answer.

"That's because I really am." He chuckled. Steps was taken by France and soon joined the latter as now both sat in the bench, facing the warm glow of the retreating Sun and the feeling of the air caressing both of them.

"Would you mind sharing those thoughts then?"

"That I would mind since they might be too depressing for a shallow person like you." Yvain joked as to which made the other laugh lightly.

"Hey, how do you say something so rude to the person who treated you to lunch?"

"I didn't ask in the first place Signor."

"You are ever so feisty Yvain." France truthfully spoke with his eyes glimmering from the playfulness that both are in.

"Should I ask for forgiveness then?" Yvain turned to look at the older one with a playful smirk.

"That you don't have to do. It make's who you are. Quite amusing if I do say so myself." France answered, crossing his arms on his chest.

"Good, I do not plan on apologizing either way." Yvan laughed as he gazed upon France who wore the same wide grin he himself was wearing. Both chuckled and came to a comfortable silence while watching the final moment of the sun for the day.

They finished their lunch way before this moment but decided to stay inside until the sun began to make the horizon bright orange and tainted it with streaks of purple, pink and red. One as to which France proposed that they take a stroll on the nearby beach as to which they did and Yvain was glad that he did not decline, not that he would say no in the first place. Something about France just enticed him so much that he himself is quite confuse. Something inside him seems to be saying something but he wants to turn a deaf ear on it not because he doesn't want to hear it but because he knows that it's pure nonsense.

"That was quite the lunch we had. I'm still quite full." Yvain spoke crossing his legs as he then proceed to close his eyes. Indeed he enjoyed the company, he could not deny the fact that he is quite drained and tired as he lacked a good hour of sleep previously and this did not go unnoticed by the older who eyed at Yvain secretly.

"Should we get going now? You seem to be quite tired." Upon hearing France's deep and husky voice, Yvain opened his eyes and looked at the older before smiling lightly.

"You are quite observant France." He spoke before standing up and walking away from the bench they sat in. The Sun had already submerged itself in the distorted plain of blue waters. The older followed Yvain from behind and noticed how perky the bum of the latter was. Blushing lightly, he chose to not violate the younger any further as somehow that felt very wrong to him.

"Shall I take you home?" He asked distracting himself from his own thoughts. The younger stopped and turned around. The look he wore made the other cross his eyebrows as Yvain now looked serious. Much different from before.

"Ha! Your face looked quite funny." Yvain then burst into laughter. He them soon calmed himself down as they were in public and to see such a grown person act childish, that might turn some heads and he might receive words of judgements.

"I-I mean, my chauffeur is already waiting for me. I shall see myself off now." France did not follow the other and continued to follow him until the younger got inside his vehicle.

"You should get going as well. The Sun has already gone. We shall meet once again." Yvain spoke after he lowered the window to his vehicle. France somehow looked disappointed as he wanted to spend more time with the latter but he did not want to pry even more.

"When is once again?" He asked in all seriousness. Yvain just gave him a smile before thanking him for their lunch and the company they both shared before driving off leaving France with no specific answer. The latter, somehow being disheartened just forced to smile and waved lightly as the car moved in the opposite direction he was headed.

"When is once again Yvain?" He blankly asked as he stared at the pavement beneath him with a heavy feeling within him.
