"Ruler, Dwarven King declared war on us some time ago. They are going to join Elves despite us warning them," One of the Gnomes came running and informed XVII of the announcement made by Harbud.

The information stunned XVII, as he never expected such a reaction from the Dwarves. He gave the order to pull the trigger on Khandi after conversing with Louise. Louise agreed with him, so he gave a go to this plan, but Gnomes joining Elves became a terrible situation for them.

His concern was not Dwarves joining the war since they had only 30,000 fighters. His main concern was the giant tiger that guarded Kajiya and the high-level weapons they had.

Dwarves developed differently than Gnomes Dwarves developed metallurgy while Gnomes created devices powered by Prana. The difference between the two was immense in theory, but in practice, Dwarven weapons were sought even more than Gnome-made devices due to their power and durability.
