Marich introduced himself and made his move right away before even giving time to Ruma to respond. Ruma could see that she couldn't win in a physical fight without her transformation, and she didn't have enough time to transform into berserk mode as Marich was only a few steps away from her, and he would reach her the next second.

She decided to cover herself in Prana to give her some protection against Marich's attack. He appeared in front of her and punched, aiming at her head before she could cover even half of her body with Prana. Fortunately for her, she started covering herself with Prana from top to bottom.

Prana cover shielded her from certain death, but she was thrown several meters away due to the power of the punch. She started the berserk transformation even before standing up, but the transformation had only started when Marich appeared in front of her and struck again.
