Like old times

It was all good, the rain stopped, and Oliver came to meet Xavier. But the odd feeling of Something bad will happen didn't go away. Sebastian and Mia went for a walk, I think that's good because they hadn't spent a nice time alone.

"What's with your face?" My mate asked as the gemma wasn't looking cheery as always.

"Too much work, you should come back fast man." He said on which Xavier smiled showing his dimples.

Though the male was fine now, he still needs some rest so that his body can be as good as before, and that's why he is not allowed to do work as I have strictly ordered him to lay down.

I looked at Oliver whose eyes were misty, and he was watching at nothing, which means he was mind link to someone. His face changed into a worried one.

"Are you alright?" I asked him.

"No, I have to get going." He stood up fastly and walked outside.

"But-" Xavier was looking all anxious.

"Don't worry, I will go after him. You should rest." I smiled at him as I ambled out of the room and ran to catch up with Oliver.

"What the hell happened?" I asked him when I was walking beside him.

"The pack house, it's on fire and many people are inside it." We ran out of the hospital and I could see from here that it was very dangerous. The fire was growing more and more swallowing the building.

"M-my parents," The gemma muttered. Well, I didn't know they were in the pack as I hadn't met them but I remember they were nice, his mother was kind and sweet. I listened to the loud cries of the children and other people inside.

"Oliver mind link other to come here," I told him.

Mia, I want her here right now. Shit, where are they?

"Ask anyone if they have seen Mia, we need her." The male nodded as he tried to mind link others.

Who can do this? This ain't just a coincidence fire, someone had done this. Why would anyone do this? What she or maybe he, will get from this? There are mostly women and children inside there. Godness, why life has to be so hard?

"OMG!" I looked at Mia who was running toward me but out of nowhere Sebastian came with his vampire-fast-running speed and hugged me. This dude scared me.

"Are you alright?" They asked.

"I'm good, but we have to do something about this, the fire is just getting intense. The wolves had tried everything. Before the fire kills everyone, do something, Mia." I said fastly.

It was the third time my friend did a spell of stopping fire but if anything it was more aggressive and big. Before, it can burn the whole building we have to do something.

Sebastian had already calmed Oliver who was asking many questions about how I could do magic when my friend told me to try. It's always amusing looking, vampires controlling someone just by looking in their eyes. But today I didn't have time for that as we have a bigger problem to pay attention to.

"Only one thing is left, I think we should try that," I said to Mia.

"What?" She asked me.

"Do a protection spell on Sebastian and me. We won't be hurt by fire and by his fast speed and with my help, we will be able to save many people." I told her, but she looked at me like I'm an idiot.

"You know after that spell you would be in pain, in intense pain for an hour or so." She said on which I nodded.

After telling both of them the hundredth time that I will be fine, but we have to rescue them here I was. Standing in the building that would turn into ashes after some hours. The fire was licking every wall, but as odd it was I didn't feel anything, no heat or the agony of the fire touching my skin. The fire did not harm me or Sebastian as we helped as many people as we can. I tried my best to get many of them out, the gemma's parents were also fine and out of the building.

We stood in front of the house looking at it crumble down into nothing. The black magic and then a protection spell for making fire non-stop able was way too powerful as Mia had a hard time keeping us safe.

Most of the people were saved but every one of them was injured in some way or another. I looked at all of them but I could see how they looked at me with disgust. Why? That I don't know. I notice now that Xavier was present there too as he fastly came towards me.

"Why would you do that? It was so dangerous, Ella. Are you fine?" He inspected me.

"I'm good Xavier. No need to be worried about me." I smiled.

"She such a drama queen." Someone or should I say, Catherine said it loudly.

"Why would she do that."

"She is odd."

"That crazy girl." I could hear much worse and worst comments directed at me. But why? It was just like old times, I did good, I was right but still, I was wrong. It was the same, same people who did bad with me, and they are doing it again.
