EMBARRASSMENT (2)

"Don't be jumpy! You'll get hurt otherwise!"

'Am I dreaming or is it true? The arrogant guy is concerned about me? Me?'

I saw his eyes were sparkling, ignoring the broad day light. My God! How fascinating! Only if he were dressed in a classy dress, instead of these rags, he would be the no.1 handsome guy in the whole world! Now judging from his appearance, he's not too bad. He's kind too, or else who would put himself in danger to save other. Though he was the cause.... Still.

He helped me to stand steadily. But my eyes couldn't left his. And mire surprisingly, he was also staring at me. Then out of blue, I began to hear some kinds of strange sounds.

DHAK! DHAK! DHAK!

Then suddenly, I heard something else.

Cough! Cough!

Both of us turned to look at the noise source at the same time, only to find Adi glaring us. We jumped a bit. I looked everywhere except Adi and Rishi.

I slapped my forehead for thinking about trivial things in a situation like this. Shame on Me!

Rishi excused himself, "Mm.. I'm going to see where's my dad. It's been too long. Too long." He left while repeating his words.

I jumped in the roar, that came after Rishi's departing, "WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON HERE?"

"Mmm....What?"

"RIGHT NOW, WHAT WERE YOU TWO DOING?"

"What doing? What?"

"YOU-"

Before he could say anything else, I cut him off, "What? What you want to say? I was going to fall! He just helped me. Why are you making a big fuss out of it?"

"I-"

"What now? Adi, stop creating a scene, okay? Instead of asking if I'm okay or not, why are you creating an embarrassing scene over here?"

He remained quiet. But I knew what he was thinking. He probably might be thinking: Who is the one creating a scene here?

But what could I do? If I couldn't shift the blame on him, then he would keep asking unreasonable questions, for which I didn't have any answers. So best way to escape from it is to shift your fault to the others and make it see like he's the one at the fault, not the other way around.

And then what else? I succeeded to shut his mouth with the words.

Then my gaze shifted on the cake in my hand. Really? I'm alive without eating anything for a whole 5 months?! I exhaled heavily.

"Ana?"

"Hmm?"

He hesitated, "Umm... I-I-"

I looked up from my hand to his face, "C'mon now! Say it out."

"Any problem? You're staring at the cake for more than five minutes."

"Oh! That....umm.."

I didn't know if I should say it or not. No one would believe that a person was alive for 5 months without eating or drinking. It would only scare people away. I decided to hide it for now. At first, I needed to know what changed inside me and how. Till then I needed to hide it.

"Nothing!" And I took a bite from the cake. Yum! I felt like I was in heaven. I felt as if I had tasted the most tasty and sweet food in this whole world! Though I had eaten a lot more tasty and costly food. Still! I took another bite and to my surprise the cake was finished within a second. Now suddenly, I began to feel the growl inside my stomach.

My eyes widened when I felt thirsty after 2 days long. But, where would I find water now? I don't have any money to buy it. Not for now! 'Imim, where are you? Please come fast.'

Ignoring the thirst, I calmed myself saying, 'I don't feel thirsty! I don't feel thirsty!' and it worked. I jumped in excitement. "Wow! Me listening to me! Wow!"

Then a word poured water in my happiness, "What?"

My eyes fall on Adi who was standing dumbfounded and probably thinking I had lost my mental stability. I stopped jumping and looked down.

'Ooooh! For sometime I had forgotten about Adi's existence! Now he has seen me jumping like a fool! Urggggg! How embarrassing! I wanna dig a big hole and throw him there and bury him." I wanted to cry too badly, but no tears came out.

I stared at the ground, drawing patterns wuth my right foot.

Now, He blurted out in his softest voice, the last thing which I wanted to hear now, "Ana? Have you lost your screws? Do I need to find them?"

There was concern as well as mockery in his tone.

I raised my right hand in a manner to stop him, ''No need! I'm okay." I was too embarrassed to look into his eyes.

"Are you sure?"

"Hmm...More than sure."

"Ana, I think-"

I cut him off, "Where's that pair of father and son? Gone for too long!" I looked at the place where Rishi was standing many minutes ago!

My eyes were widened when I saw the sight over there. My eyes widened more, when the figures from the far started to get near. There were around 20 men, in black suit, just like bodyguards. Each of them wearing black sunglasses and theur hair neatly combed. I saw them walking forward holding the back of the shirts of the pair as if they were their captives. Then they pushed them aside, letting their grip go.

Soon I found the familiar face that came from behind and stood in front them. The very face that I needed the most now. The very secure place that I would feel around him. I wanted to go and hug him and cried out all the pain I had been facing. But my legs were numb. I couldn't move. I also wanted to scream, cry and complain. But no words came from my mouth.

Only a gasp of relief escaped through my mouth, "Imim!"

Adi blurted in amusement, "Bimal Uncle!"

Imim stood there. His eyes looking around my body. My hair, my face, my dress. I knew what he was thinking. I looked down in embarrassment not knowing what to say.

Then, he came to me closing the distance between us. I looked at him with teary eyes. He placed his shaky hand on my head and said, "You've suffered a lot, child. Now it's okay. Let's go home."

I couldn't control my tears any longer and cried out, hugging him.

He stroke my hair saying, "Shh! It's okay now! No one can hurt you any longer. It's okay! Stop crying! Let's go home now!"

I stopped crying and looked up, "Imim, I was so scared! I don't want to stay here anymore. It's so dangerous."

"No worries! Let's go now."

He waved his hand to one man and he took Adi in his care. We were about to leave when that voice stop us.

"Can you also take us with you?"

I turned around. The bodyguards moved left-right side to make the way for us to see behind. Rishi and his dad were standing there. I could see there was a hope in his eyes, but also fear.

He again said, but now hesitantly, "Can..you take us...with you?"

I looked at the man in his 50s, "Imim, can we bring them with us? Rishi saved me and I don't want to leave him behind."

Somehow, I felt there was two meanings in my word.

Imim raised his eyebrowand looked at me. I gave him a pleading eyes and ovio he agreed immediately.

He waved his men and soon, the stupid pair was standing behind us.

As soon as we started to walk, the father started his nonsense, "Sir, hello! This is my son," he patted on Rishi's back, "He's a very good kid and very obedient. He's 12th pass."

He said it so loud as if he were proud of his son. I scoffed, '12th pass? So what? Isn't it common?!'

Imim and Rishi completely ignored the cartoon but he continued, "He's 20 years old. He can do anything if he sets his mind in one thing. He's very strong and can defeat all of your men like it's nothing. He's also very intelligent since his childhood." and so on and on.

My head started to ache hearing all his nonsense throughout the way to our car. And when he saw my Rolls-Royce Phantom, his nonsense reached to the high level, that I wanted to punch and kick him to my heart's content. Luckily, Imim ordered the men to take the pair with them to their cars. I sighed in relief. But the most annoying thing going on was that all eyes were on us the whole way, making me disgust my attire.

After sometime, we stopped near a 5 storeyed building which appeared to me a hotel or something like that.

When we entered, all eyes were on me, full of disgust and hatred. I just wanted to poke each and everyone's eyes out who were looking down on me. Me! They were constantly bad mouthing me and speaking ill of me. I marked each one of them. They didn't stop even they noticed I was glaring at them. I was again having the mixed emotions. Anger and embarrassment!

Imim reserved the rooms and we went to the rooms.

There I got freshed by rubbing away all the dirt, shampooing my hair. Usually, I would bath for 15-20 minutes. But I couldn't help to stay longer under the shower after facing all those horrible things. And when I thought it's time to come out, I came out. Imim had already arranged my dresses, shoes and other necessities. And by seeing all of those things, I could tell they weren't less than lakhs. Still neither too expensive nor too cheap. Perfect!

I slipped into the black and red designed dress that caught my eyes. I took the matching earrings, bracelet and a chain necklace. I tied the upper part of my hair and left the rest u tied. As it was messy from before, it added to my beauty. There was a matching shoes, but I liked the pure black one that made my feet look attractive and elegant.

I looked at the mirror before leaving, "Neither anyone is as rich as me nor as pretty as me. And of course, not as dangerous as my family."

When I was ready, I came out of the suite. Six bodyguards were standing out there. I waved my hand. I got inside to collect the remaining dresses and things while the five followed me.

While I was going to the reception, I could feel all eyes were on me again. Now, this time there were admiration and jealousy. I liked the way how it was now. Then my eyes fell on the employees who were insulting me. I gave them a evil smirk and turned to the right side bodyguard.

"Get their all of their names and unemployed them."

"Miss, do you need me to blacklist them?"

"No! Just make sure they are driven out from their current jobs, as a warning to them."

I went to the reception where Imim and ither were waiting for me. Imim had also changed his suite. Adi was wearing a tshirt and jeans. Rishi and his father were also in the same outfit, but different colours.

As soon as I came near, Imim placed his hand on my head, "Ready my child?"

I nodded.

Then his eyes narrowed, "I ordered six bodyguards to attend you. Why there is five now? How careless these men are?!" he slapped his forehead, "Hmm.. Looks like I need to fire some and hire new."

"No need, Imim," a devilish smile took his way to my lips, "I've given that sixth one a special job. He'll be here soon."
