After she finished, she saw that everyone seemed motivated, and the guy who was listening intently, slipped away, Leah told them that she would come back after a bathroom break, she ran to see where the boy had gone and he did not go anywhere far, he just ran a little bit, and knelt down, there were tears in his eyes, Leah was heartbroken as she felt like she was looking at herself, someone who wanted a way out too, she went and hugged the guy from behind, she hummed that it will be alright, and they talked a while. She gave him water first and then realised that his eyes were red, after letting him wash his face, and come out, feeling a bit better than earlier, she asked him whether he would like to talk to her about his story, and she would be happy to listen, to help. He said that he needed time to think on his own, but asked for her number and said that he would reach out to share, he was tired of keeping it all in, his heart felt heavy and this was what he wanted, relief.
Just by giving one guy her number, Leah would soon create a movement, it wasn't her number that would be passed on, but a global network of people would be connected to each other through her, she wanted to touch a million hearts, but she would end up touching a billion, Leah realised something else when she was looking at the boy, he was unhappy, she realised that she needed to share one more thing before she left, she entered the room again, and said it. The thing she finished with, actually finished with, she later used in her high school graduation speech, it moved people to tears then, and it moved them to tears now, the only difference is that she was not crying right now, but she would be crying happy tears with her friends then. Our lives are so long and pathetic, sometimes boring, but sometimes so filled with adventure and thrill or predicaments that no matter how much time you do get, it never seems enough, just like Leah, millions of high school kids go through high school, a beautiful chapter of our lives, which is often ruined by bullying, body shaming, peer pressure, depression, anxiety, instead of ditching these problems altogether, try to understand, high school shapes kids in many ways, we finally get serious about our lives, think about college, jobs, family, work, money, all our concepts are refined during our high school years, and they continue to grow throughout our lives, but the ideas that we hold in our hearts in middle school become real when we are graduating high school, we realise that the world that we live in is much bigger than we thought, therefore, every person, no matter who, parent or child, should try to listen, do not ever deem someone wrong because you have never experienced the thing they are talking about, it does not ever hurt to listen to someone, just by listening you could save someone's life, the futures of families, and associated families, the friends and people associated with that person, if you want to do a good deed, start by listening more, and talking too! Talk about your feelings, don't be a hedgehog, don't bear the burden of the world alone, you are not alone, there is always someone to listen to, someone to talk to, you only need to look around, fate does the rest of the work itself.
When Leah finally came out, she was really tired and hungry, her fruit salad, the one she loved, awaited her at home, and she wanted to go, and dig in the moment she got out but she decided to go shopping, she bought something which she put into her bag, two boxes, she was unsure of what they were for, she did not know, if it would be kept by the person she wanted to give it to, but she was willing to try, and so she put them in her bag, the bag for her trip; she laid on her bed that night, thinking, how nicely things had worked out, rather than using social media and posting things, she had long given up the whole concept of it, someone else handled her account, the account that she used for book updates, and stuff, she was talking to the stars, she was wishing that her one wish would be granted, it was her birthday in a couple of days, her birthday would probably pass by while she was on the trip, she knew she wanted to be wished, not by the many people who were going to wish her, but by Ethan, she planned to confess to him again, personally, privately, clearly, she would be the one to tell him she loved him this time, properly, not out of fear, but out of pure love, Ethan had mostly avoided her since she had come back to school. She knew he could not bring himself to bully her, after all, he still loved her, she knew it, in her heart, Ethan would be the only guy she'd ever love, the feelings she had for him, were not skin but rather bone deep, she knew that she needed to have him all to herself.
