Just Another High School Story!

So what happened that day? I know you don't know yet, but if I were the reader, I would have wanted to know what happened after, first so that my heart could be at ease, and I saved you some time, and anxiety, now, you don't have to go back and forth, you can breathe a sigh of relief, as our lovers have been united.

After Mindy's voice echoed loudly, waking everyone else up, she charged at Leah and pushed her, in that moment, unaware of what came over her, she pushed Leah down the cliff. She didn't realise what happened, because Ethan had gone into shock too, she had lost all her senses, her mind, her rationality, in that moment, she became a child who had done something bad, knowingly or unknowingly, who knows, in matters of the heart, human heart especially, some emotions are really powerful, some feelings too overwhelming, some things that we do can't be explained, no matter how many times a revisit is attempted, she didn't know how to explain things, why she had shoved Leah down, she didn't even love Ethan that much, she had heard what he said to her, her bipolar had acted out in that moment, she felt rage, an emotions that was inexplicable, surround her, fill her mind, he heart, she didn't know how her hands had been able to do something like that. She didn't process it, even after the coach came, and he had asked her a simple question, "What happened?" But she had not been able to say anything, when the coach asked her about the situation at hand, she hadn't responded until it hit her.

She finally admitted that she was insane, she had, at least, gone insane and reached her breaking point under the pressure, she felt ridiculous, as her breathing got louder, her whole world crumbled, she had harmed someone, and that someone was probably dead, after she looked around, she saw that Ethan was being picked up, and put into a car, he was unconscious too, she possibly killed two people in one night. How had her life changed in mere moments?? Was she a murderer, would she have to go to a trial, would Leah's family forgive her, would she be able to live? When the situation was finally understood, though how, remains unknown to everyone involved directly yet, the coach called 911, explained the situation, rather than saying that someone had pushed her, he had used the words 'she fell', then how and why exactly was Mindy being punished right now, and what for?? So many questions were to be asked, so many answered. In the chaotic mess, the cops looked for her corpse, or her alive, both were probabilities, the coach was holding on for the sake of the kids present, he wanted to cry too, what the hell had happened? He hadn't been careful enough with these three. How could a student push another down a cliff? He couldn't understand, because he had not heard her side of the story yet, but you, dear reader, I hope you understand, I hope you analyse and decide for yourself, is the person at fault or the twisted ways of the torturous society?

Mindy was taken in for questioning, and now it was revealed as to who the source for telling the coach what happened was, it was Erik, Erik had followed them too, but he had just let Mindy do her thing, he felt partly responsible for her reaction, earlier, during the day, he had told them that they should be 'careful', what if Leah was really dead. Did that mean he was an accomplice in murder, that night, the lives of every student at Wilson's High changed, the way they looked at status, judged things, appearances, people, dealt with situations changed, everyone realised that maybe there was a flaw in the system, an error that had been let off the hook for too long now, they wanted to change things.

The people who had teased Leah for her bulimia, the ones who'd called her 'Barfie',the ones who had let bullying go on, everyone felt ashamed, the ruined and the righteous, the protected and the protectors, the bullied and the bullies, after all, Leah was or is not the only victim of this stupid 'hierarchy' which was built out of boredom and the want of power, power that isn't needed if peace is wanted, harmony settles in situations, quietly, you'd be surprised to see it make a visit after announcing its arrival, therefore, just like the students, teachers, the principal, the people around Leah, just like their minds changed, just like the world had taken a step closer to change, I hope the reader does the same thing, no matter who or where they are, I thank you for your effort, so does Leah. Let's make sure what happened to her, doesn't happen to people in the future, let us try and make the lives of other people better, happier, more beautiful. The earth and nature are not the only things to be explored, everyone's heart that beats at a rhythm unique to them, and everyone's minds which function at a speed irreplaceable, unchangeable, at waves and lengths perfect for them, these places, our souls, beautiful when let out, these places, they are worthy of being explored, of being paid attention to.
