Just Another High School Story!

Leah answered Mr Wilson and told him that she was fine and not dead, she wasn't mad about the whole Mindy thing, she just wanted to do one thing when it came to Mindy, Mindy had been under pressure and right now, people were accusing her of crazy shit, saying she did this, and did that, Leah didn't want the rumours to affect Mindy in the way that they had affected her own self, rumours that were thrust upon her without permission, she wasn't just shocked, she had been gripped, it felt like that, she had been strangled, it's dangerous just what a small rumour can do, she had wanted to strangle the rumours instead, make them blow over, and disappear, now that she saw everyone was kind of on 'her side', though she didn't understand why there was a side in this story, she planned to add it to her graduation speech.

She was not going to let the life of a person be ruined, though by no means did that mean that what Mindy was did okay, Mindy needed help just like Leah had, and she knew that Mindy would be fine, the latter's misery, and the former's forgiveness mattered more than anything right now.

She had explained to the principal that it was all a big misunderstanding. Leah had slipped, and sure they were fighting, but they were agitated, Mindy didn't really push her, and so she told the principal that she wanted to make the graduation special for herself, and the other kids; she discussed her plans and the principal was more than happy to give her space, he had realised one thing, the things students or just everyone goes through are not unreal, everyone has a right, and a valid reason to be heard, he wanted the students to not be pressured by failure but had never been able to connect with them properly, connect so that he could understand what they went through, who better than Leah to speak about what she'd gone through, what she had done to overcome it, he said that he was honoured to have her speak.

--On the day of the Graduation--

Leah pulled on her uniform, after struggling with it forever, Ethan and Linda were helping her with a shoe, and her hair, she was nervously muttering her speech, this was going to be the most real graduation speech ever shared, she didn't know how the students were going to take it, she was scared but soon her mom and dad walked in, there were three couples in the room then, soon to be joined by another, Xin and Mia walked in just as Leah's mom and dad were about to say something. As they looked at the kids... Leah, Ethan, Linda, Matt, Xin, Mia... standing there looking like adults, they couldn't help tear up, Leah's mom told them this, "Guys, you know life isn't going to be easy, but nothing good ever is, don't worry though, every problem has a solution, and as Leah says be 'lifesitivistic', college is just another step of the ladder, don't stress yourselves too much, eat and live well." "And you," added her dad, "You guys better take care of my girls." "Yes, sir!" responded the three guys, Leah hadn't ever been one to introduce her family and friends to each other, but after what happened, all her friends had come to the hospital, conversed with her parents, they were worried about Ethan who lived alone. And Leah had a plan to reconcile them, E's family, it would be a big shocker but he'd appreciate the effort, and the results later, it was a really big step for Leah to open up to so many people, she was always one to keep things to herself, no matter how hard things got, she was the girl to swallow it, never the girl who bellowed out her worries, and in the process of holding in worries, she'd gotten used to enjoying everything alone, whether it be happiness or sadness, even when she had gotten acceptance letters from three IVY colleges, she didn't say anything, her parents found out later while she laid in a hospital bed, that was a kind of a blow to her parents but they understood that she needed item, just like any other teenager who had been through a lot and needed time to process her feelings, figure out how and when she wanted to share, after all, they had broken up and gotten together again, and she wanted to change that, and luckily, the first step was quite easy, it was introducing Ethan officially, to her parents, as her 'boyfriend', she still got butterflies when she thought about the handsome boy, he would never cease to surprise her, he would always have something new for her, and if he did not then what were his qualities for, everyday, she found something better in him, something exciting, being in love was being on a cloud that doesn't exist, she was scared of falling but he was holding her, he was the cloud, it was just that rather than being beneath her, he was beside her, it was the most amazing feeling in the world. When she did introduce him, so did Linda, they were finally hanging out again, without worries, without gloominess, without tension, she had so many friends now, two amazing girls whom she could talk to, about Ethan, about everything, her career as a writer had taken off, she was going to be majoring in literature, at Yale, with Ethan, it was a coincidence come too early, but she was really happy, all the couples were going to the same colleges, Ethan had gotten letters from Yale, and Harvard, she had wanted to go to Yale, and surprisingly, Ethan had too, it was perfect, their love had already suffered a little too much, was it not fair for them to be together without any hicks or surprises now?
