"But… I swear, that felt like just a couple hours ago…" "I don't know what happened - but I'm just going to assume that you woke later than the rest of us… even if it is 2 years apart…" Suddenly a notification popped up on mine, and Rams UD. "Notification. It is now 6:00 pm. All SC are to be currently heading to their rooms, or already inside of their rooms. You have approximately 30 minutes to get back to your room if you are not in yours already. The punishment for failure will be detention." Ada said. "Welp. We'll have to continue this tomorrow. But - just remember - if you do anything to Star, I'll-" "Do something worse than a punch?" She paused, wondering how I knew what she was going to say, before shrugging it off. 'Eh, I'll find out tomorrow.' She thought. She was about to walk out the door, when an explosion shook the building. Suddenly, an alarm went off, both in their room, and on their watches. A warning sign popped up on the UDs, and my heart skipped a beat. The text read: 'Intruders detected. Threat level: High. Lockdown Initiated.'
A thick sheet of pure metal shut in front of the door, locking both me and Ram in the same room. "Wha- What's happening?" Ram asked. Another explosion rang through the room. "Ada, what's happening?!" I asked. "There is currently a lockdown due to infiltration. Please stand by and wait for instructions." A few more moments passed, then a new notification popped up. Ada's voice started talking again. "Is Star Tel in there with you? She is currently missing, so if she is with you, press the green 'Yes' Button. If not, press the red 'No' Button." I paused, before pressing No. "Star is missing!? She was going to the cafeteria, right?" Ram glanced over. "Don't worry… They'll… They'll get her back to safety… r-right?" I stared at the door. "Ram, what's your ability?" "Flight. I can fly for an hour, or make one other thing fly for 30 seconds." Perfect. "Alright, can you make the metal covering the door float up?" "Why? Wait, you're not going to…?" "I am." Ram stared for a moment, before nodding. "Ok." She held her hands out towards the door, and started focusing. A few moments later, I heard a loud creak as the sheet slowly moved upwards. "Move! I can't… hold it… forever!" I nodded, and went out the door. Somehow, the door still opened like normal.
I ran out into the hall, as another explosion rang throughout the hallway. "Ada, open the map." The map opened on my UD, and I scanned it for the cafeteria. I found it, and started sprinting. 'I hope she's alright, even if she was cold to me.' Once I reached there, I found… nothing. She wasn't there. Suddenly a notification popped up on my UD. "Star Tel has been found." My heart skipped a beat. She wasn't here. She was safe. Of course, it wasn't bad that she was safe. It was just that now I wasn't safe. "Crap!" I whispered to myself, and started to sprint back to my room. But then I heard footsteps down the hall.
I quickly hid beneath one of the tables, and waited for them to pass. 'Please don't come in here, please don't come in here…' The door opened, as they came in. They were all wearing black suits, with a visor in front of their face. They also all held guns. One, after he walked in, he looked around. "Clear." He continued walking in, before stopping in the middle. "Move In." The rest of the people walked inside. That's when they started searching under the tables. A Minute passed. Two. Then three. Four. Then even five minutes of just straight fear. If they found me… well, I didn't even want to know what would happen. My heart felt like it was pounding out of my chest. That's when it happened.
They finally reached my table. I covered my mouth, and stared at the legs of who I thought would be the person who found me. As they crouched down I knew I was done for. They would see me, alert the others, and then they were going to do… something. What were these people here for? I prepared myself for the worst, when suddenly…
The lights went out. It was pitch black. I silently thanked whatever just caused the lights to turn off. My heart felt like it was going to burst. "Damn! Friggin electricity was shut off!" Someone said. "Yeah, we can see that." Another said. Suddenly, they all turned on flashlights that looked to be attached to their helmets. "Has anyone found the target yet?" "If we did, we'd've told ya already." The one next to my table said. "Why do we need 'em again?" "Because, he's the sister of the one that gave us the position of the other base." The Sister of who? Did they mean… Tenak, and Senol? One of them was still here? "Hold on, I think I found something." It came from someone behind me. I looked back, and my heart practically stopped. The man had his flashlight pointed straight at me, with a hand stretching out.
He grabbed me by the back of the shirt, and pulled me out. "Ah, 'ere we go! Got one of 'em!" I tried to pry his hands off, but he was too strong. "Ah, a feisty one aren't ya?" I kicked him, and he immediately let go, holding the spot I had kicked him. "Why you little… HEY! I GOT ONE OVER HERE!" Immediately I started running, the sound of feet drumming behind me. I kept running, my legs being led by pure memory. The sound of footsteps got closer, and closer. They were catching up. "We aren't gonna hurt you!" One of them said. "We just want to talk!" "Yeah, right!" I continued running, and suddenly the lights flickered back on. I realized that I was in the dorm hallway! If I could just get to my room… that's when I tripped. And then I had hands grabbing me, pulling me away. 'No!' I thought. This couldn't be it. I wouldn't let this be it. I held out my hands, and with one, final, burst of desperation, I shouted. "STOP!" And then… it did. Everyone around me, excluding me, was completely frozen, as if they had all become statues. And the world had turned monochrome.
