Chapter 14

After eating dinner with their family, Louise went on a walk to the beach and Sean noticed him so he followed her.

“Are you going alone?” Sean asked Louise.

“Do you see anyone with me?” She answered.

“No one.” Sean briefly answered. Louise smiled on how Sean reacted.

“I thought you can see what I see.” She teased him. Sean felt cold because of what Louise said and remembered that Louise is also scared with things like that.

“Don’t you dare scare me like that. As far as I can remember, you were scared inside the library when we were stuck there.” He looked at Louise and widely smiled. “See, you’ve been counter attacked.” He laughed.

“I bet you’re scared too when we were there. I saw you sweating too much like you’re one scared child.” They were teasing each other while they were walking towards the shore. They sat on a long log beside the shore and just stared at the moon and the calm sea.
