Amanda froze her position looking with her tearful eyes at max, she was hoping that he would back of his words and tell her that he was joking but his silence and his sad looks were enough to convince her that this is the truth, so she turned her back and ran quickly away from the room without saying a word followed by the sad looks of max and his broken heart, and immediately carter caught up with her

Matthew pressed hard on his hand from oppression for his inability to stand up and go behind her, for losing his last hope to fight for her while camilla wiped her tears and asked him calmly : Why you

Matthew immediately interrupted her with his sharp tone : I should have told her the truth from the start camilla, does not ask me anything

Camilla sadly : I was asking you why didn't tell me about the position of your legs ? You should have left me in prison to be punished for my heinous deeds

Matthew sighed deeply and replied quietly : Don't blame yourself, i'm not bothered by it. I know medicine has developed and i can walk again

Tears flowed from camilla's eyes like rain as she said in an oppressive tone : I know you say this so that i do not feel guilty

Matthew smiled gently and pointed to her to come closer, she did to sit next to him while he spoke tenderly caressing her hair : I'm really not upset that you tried to kill max, it made me see how much you love your brother, and i'm really happy with this. For my legs, i'm sure i'll walk again because my sister is one of the best doctors and she will take care of me herself. Is not it ?

Camilla immediately nodded in the affirmative saying confidently : You will return to live in our house and i will take care of you myself, amanda knows the truth now and we no longer have to demonstrate in front of the world

Matthew smiled sadly without saying a word and was afraid that amanda would hate him forever because of his truth

Amanda quickly ran away from the hospital crying of oppression and the pain of betrayal ignoring carter's calling until he grabbed her by the arm and told her seriously : Amanda where are you going with this state ? You must be strong for your son

Amanda with crying : How strong would i be after this betrayal ? I married him and allowed him to touch me and kiss me but he is not my lover max. He was deceiving me all the time and i was like a fool love him more and more. How could he do this to me and his freind max ? How did i not notice him from the start ? How i had been living with a vile criminal like him all the time ? How did i make a scum like him become the father of my child ?

She could not add a word and collapsed crying in carter's arms in the middle of the road from the intensity of oppression and pain

Some time passed, and carter managed to calm amanda a little. At this moment, she was sitting on a wooden bench facing the calm sea contemplating it silently while tears streaming down from her eyes carrying all the scars of her wounded heart

Carter came to sit next to her after he handed her a small bottle of water that she drank quietly to wet her throat which dried from crying then asked her in a gentle tone : Are you feeling better now ?

Amanda nodded to him meaning yes without saying a word, her gaze hanging on the distant horizon. Carter sighed in despair and looked where she looks to amanda ask him calmly : When did you know that ?

Carter answered softly : I heard him talk with camilla about that today and immediately decided to tell you

Tears fell from amanda's eyes again to ask him sadly : Why did he do this to me ? He knows that i love only max, why did he deceive me this way and make me be with him ?

Carter looked at her and answered with some hesitation : We both know very well why he did this amanda, because he loves you

Amanda annoyed : This is not love, this is a deception, love based on a lie that cannot continue. I will never forgive him for this betrayal

Carter hesitantly : So what are you going to do now ?

Amanda wiped her tears and answered seriously : I will separate from him, and i will not allow him to see me or see prince again

Carter grumbled : Just that ? Won't you report it ? That bastard killed max and took his place. He's been fooling you all this time. How are you going to let him escape by doing it so easily ?

Amanda quietly : I also want to punish him, but his health status now does not allow him to enter prison. Despite everything he did, but he was a good father to my son and for him only i will not file a case against him, at least not before his treatment

Carter stood up and shouted nervously : What is this stupidity ? Why do you care about his health after everything he did ? Don't you understand that he killed max and took his place ? How could you be so lenient with this matter ?

Amanda also stood up from her place and answered with an annoyed tone : When you thought him max was always inciting me against him saying that you can't believe matthew tried to kill him, and now when it became clear that he is matthew you try to say that he killed max. I know that you don't love them both so do not try to interfere with this matter now

She turned her back to leave but he pulled her to him by arm and spoke sharply : Yes, it is true that i didn't like both of them, do you know why ? Because they were competing with me for your love. I always hated max because he married you and took you from me, but now when i knew that he is matthew my hate turned into fear because what matthew did for you no one could do, so i'm afraid he'll take you from me again because he really loves you

Amanda pushed him strongly and answered him with a hard slap on his right cheek that made him automatically turn to the other side. He pressed hard on his fist to tell him firmly : The nonsense you just uttered never repeat it

She speeded away from him and he kicked the ground violently in anger

After some time amanda parked her car in front of the house and arranged herself on the mirror as she don't want prince to see her in this situation, so she wiped her tears and drew a fake smile on her lips and went to the house calling spontaneously : My prince i'm back

She saw him sitting alone at the dinning table eating italien pizza with white cheese to ask him intuitively : Why do you eat pizza prince ? Didn't Rachel bring you food ?

Prince replied coldly : I didn't like her food so i ordered a pizza

Amanda in herself : Although prince never lived with max, but he likens him a lot, his love of coffee and pizza with white cheese

She cut her words with delated eyes and murmured in shock : How did i forgot this ? Matthew is allergic to white cheese but he used to eat it every time i asked for it, so that day he didn't have a fever but had allergy symptoms because he ate the pizza i ordered for him so i would't doubt him. How could he risk himself for that ? Does he really love me that much ? But even if he loved me he wouldn't have had the right to deceive me that way all the time. I really can never forgive him

Amanda couldn't stop thinking about matthew all that night. After Rachel left and after she sent prince to his room to sleep, she stayed on the balcony contemplating the moon remembring every beautiful moment she had gathered before with matthew. And at that moment the real max stood behind her, his face completely mutilated by the burns but you could see his frightening smile on his torn mouth. He made her silky black hair fall on the palm of his hand and close it to his nose to smell its fragrant smell.

For a while amanda felt very cold air behind her made blood freeze in her veins from fear, and immediately turned to see who was behind her but there was no one, or rather she couldn't see max as he was standing directly in front of her and only a few inches between their lips.
