Abigail woke up at the dawn break. She couldn’t sleep at all maybe because Aidan was sleeping beside her or maybe she was tense to think of the problems the company was facing recently. She had a headache because of it. However, she ignored the discomfort and went to the bathroom. 


She filled the bathtub with warm water and soaked herself in it. The moment the warm water touched her skin, her muscles relaxed. The mild aroma of the shower gel was also soothing her excited nerves. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the bath. 


She would have fallen asleep in the tub if she had not been interrupted by the sound of the doorbell. She thought Aidan would open the door and didn’t go out of the washroom. But to her surprise, the doorbell rang again. 


After thinking that Lilian might have come to check on her, she came out of the tub. Wearing the bathrobe, she stepped out of the bathroom.
