Abigail was pinned on the wall by a strong man, and she felt a sharp pain in her arms. “Let go of me. You are hurting me.” Tears started accumulating in her eyes, but she still stubbornly looked at the man’s eyes in a challenging way.
The man leaned over her. Their faces were inches away, and his hot breathing was fanning on her cheeks. There were many emotions in his deep green eyes which Abigail couldn’t decipher. After a span of silence, Charles opened his mouth and said, “You are not going anywhere. You are now mine; mine to love, and mine to torture.”

When Riley received the call from the man that he appointed to investigate who attacked Xander, he couldn’t delay asking, “Did you find him out?” 


“Yes, Mr. Ross. This man managed to avoid all the surveillance cameras in the marriage bureau. But he was caught on the camera installed in the next signal. We are after him. We'll find him soon. How is the master?” 


Riley sighed in distress and replied despondently, “Not good. Sir is also worried about him. I am taking him home. But you should find that man. I am sure he is Aidan’s man. Look out for Aidan too.” 


“Yes. I got to go now. Talk to you later.” 


The call ended with that, and Riley went to talk to the doctor. 


At the end of the day, Abigail came back to the villa. She didn’t go to Xander’s Seaview penthouse. She made up her mind not to go to his penthouse until she got his answer.
