Abigail was pinned on the wall by a strong man, and she felt a sharp pain in her arms. “Let go of me. You are hurting me.” Tears started accumulating in her eyes, but she still stubbornly looked at the man’s eyes in a challenging way.
The man leaned over her. Their faces were inches away, and his hot breathing was fanning on her cheeks. There were many emotions in his deep green eyes which Abigail couldn’t decipher. After a span of silence, Charles opened his mouth and said, “You are not going anywhere. You are now mine; mine to love, and mine to torture.”

Abigail was looking towards the entrance of the villa from the balcony adjoining the room. She waited impatiently for Xander with the hope in her heart that Riley would find him and bring him home soon. 


Meanwhile, she saw the Mercedes rolling in through the gate. A frown surfaced on her face not seeing Xander's car. She rushed out and opened the door, only to see Riley enter, supporting Xander. 


The smell of alcohol struck her nostrils the moment they came closer. He was not fully conscious because of the effect of the alcohol. She felt a twinge in her heart to see this and hurried to help Riley to take him to the bedroom. 


After laying him down on the bed, Abigail thanked Riley, "Thank you for bringing him back." 


“Don’t thank me. It’s my duty. Just take care of him.” He took the car key out of his pocket and handed over it to her, “I am leaving now.”
