Abigail was pinned on the wall by a strong man, and she felt a sharp pain in her arms. “Let go of me. You are hurting me.” Tears started accumulating in her eyes, but she still stubbornly looked at the man’s eyes in a challenging way.
The man leaned over her. Their faces were inches away, and his hot breathing was fanning on her cheeks. There were many emotions in his deep green eyes which Abigail couldn’t decipher. After a span of silence, Charles opened his mouth and said, “You are not going anywhere. You are now mine; mine to love, and mine to torture.”

The next morning, Abigail's sleep was disrupted by the conversation outside the door. 


“The flight is delayed for an hour. I need to check the arrangements too.” Riley sounded a little anxious. 


“Don’t worry.” Xander comforted him. “I will go to the airport.” 


“Will you? Ha-ha... you have lifted my burden." Riley laughed awkwardly, rubbing his neck. 


Xander smiled and patted his shoulder, “Go get ready.” 


Having said that, he came in and saw Abigail getting out of the bed. He smiled and approached her, “Good morning, sweetheart.” 


He held her in his arms and kissed her forehead. 


Abigail was taken aback to see him in formal attire, “Are you leaving so early?” She frowned at him. 


“Yes, sweetheart.” He caressed her cheek with his slender finger, “It is going to be a long busy day for me. I will be late tonight. Don't wait for dinner.” 


Abigail was a little disappointed. She pouted and slammed her fist on his chest, “But I want you to come back soon.”
