REGAN'S POV.

She was sitting by the widow with a book in her hand when I walked into the room.

She didn't turn when the door opened and closed. I was still angry about the court insident. She's too innocent and too foolish to even realize mockery.

And she had dared to stop me, in front of the entire family too! What will they think of me now?

That was no reason to have acted the way I did though. I have never raised my voice at Iris. Not even a little glims of my anger has she seen so I didn't blame her.

It was all my fault. I've been so kind to her she now see me as a different person,a kind person. That had to stop. But I didnt trust myself to be able to do that. Her mere presence make me sober.

I could tell she was angry too. She wasn't going to get an apology from me though. Looking around,I realized the room had a new look. The curtains were no longer black. She changed them.

I walked into the closet and changed my cloths before walking out again.
