THIRTY.

REGAN'S POV.

The camp was a stone throw from the kingdom but people didn't know that since it was hidden in the thick forest.

I chose this location because of all the things we had access to. The trees were good for practice and the wide bare land that stretched before the forest was enough to house the 5000 men who represented the royal army of which I was the general.

To top it up was the river that lay on the west of the forest. We had everything we needed to make camping easier.

But the main reason I chose this location was because it was strategically hidden on the border of Maledoth.

So that we were able to detect any threat as early as possible without being discovered by the enermy. It gave us a huge advantage over our attackers.

The camp was almost empty today as I walked in. We have not gone for war in quite a long time nor have anyone dared attack us so my men were permitted to go out and be with their families
