REGAN'S POV.
It felt like a dream. I never thought a day would come where I would be able to hold her in my arms, spend the night with her and wake up to see her beautiful face lying in my bed.
My mystery woman.
I still felt like I was in my dreams. That she wasn't real. That she'll be gone with the rising of the sun.
But sitting up in bed this morning, I looked back at her still lying there, smiling in her sleep. I could touch her, feel her. So no, it wasn't a dream.
I felt content for once in my life. Whether by choice or by force, I also had someone by my side now. I wasn't alone again. I thought I would be for the rest of my life.
"Who would want to be with a monster like you. Even your own mother left you, remember? And they say all mothers want their children no matter what. But yours didn't want you. That was why she died. Or was it, you didn't want her so you killed her? Either way, you're alone in this world brother!"
