FORTY-ONE

Regan found himself Wondering around the camp. He came to a stop before the river and stared ahead into the deep

Why couldn't he be happy for once in his lifetime. Why couldn't things move normally for him. That was if he was a normal person.

When he was a boy, he hated his abilities so much that he wanted to take his own life. The only thing that prevented him from hurting himself was the look of despire on his father's face anytime something happened to him.

He didn't have anyone but he knew his father loved him unconditionally. He remember weeping in his father's arms many times and telling him to take it away, to make it stop and he had promised that if he could make it stop he would have.

He grew up knowing that there was nothing he could do about his condition yet he never stopped wishing for a change.
