Paris Leblanc

Ever since you stayed at the Saito's mansion, Muchiko is starting to get better.

Still, you cannot diagnose what is wrong with him. He is eating better now, but he keeps digging the ground and is sleeping most of the time. He likewise refuses to do his usual activities like hunting.

You looked at your watch. Aki might be looking for you as it was almost nighttime.

'Six in the afternoon. Where did the time fly?'

You were going up the stairs when you sensed a sinister presence.

Your ability is weak, so it is as if that person is trying to make you notice his aura.

You looked around, searching for where the aura was coming from.

'And there he is.'

Standing at the corner of the corridor was a tall man with pink bright hair.

'Paris Le’blanc.' You know the character like the back of your hand. You have always been afraid of this character.

Even when you were writing about him, you simply can visualize him doing all sorts of mischief. And sometimes you curse yourself and wonder what will happen if the character ever came to life.

He was known throughout the book as the artist, with each of his pieces being priced for billions of dollars.

The man is a flirt, stringing willing females along towards his bed. His notoriety made men hate him with such intensity and the ladies love him with such passion.

He was wearing a bright pink shirt and jeans that hug his perfectly sculpted body like a second skin. On his neck is a colorful scarf.

Odd that such an outfit would have made anyone else like a clown, but for him…he looked downright stunning.

The glasses he wore emphasized the beautiful golden orbs that stare at you with such interest. You felt a chill run through your spine as you caught a glimpse of his eyes underneath.

He looks intimidating, and yet somehow his whole get-up screams crazy.

'Crazy can be dangerous or sexy.'

In this case, you realized that it can be both.

He was staring at you with those golden orbs of his.

'Eyes just like that of a cat.'

The arch of his eyebrows and the hint of mischief in those eyes.

'No, his were the eyes of a fox.'

Sly and dangerous.

Feline and powerful.

'Undoubtedly sexy.'

The man before you is every inch an eye candy. The contrast of the muscles ripping through his flesh and the white skin against his bright shirt made him look more masculine and interesting.

While Rin can always be seen wearing an all-black outfit, Paris has always worn colorful outfits, but somehow that just added to his appeal. It made him look like a sexy fox in a suit.

At that moment, you knew the fox was stalking you.

He judges you with every step you take towards him.

He is waiting for his prey to come to him.

You wanted to run away, but he blocks the exit.

You have to pass through him.

He has calculated that as much.

There's simply no other way.

So you took a step towards him.

Your heart pounded in your chest so hard that you feel like your chest will explode at any moment

You felt like a prey walking into a predator's trap.

'A mouse caught in Paris' claws.'

You did not know it yet, but you felt a sickening grip in your stomach.

From that moment, you are his.

And no matter how you struggle or try to run away from him...

Escape is futile.

The fox already got his prey.

•••••••••••••••

"Interesting," Paris chuckled.

"What is?" you asked, trying to keep a straight face.

You hope that he didn't notice how scared you are at that instant.

'Why is he here?'

Is Paris here to kill you? Or is he trying to seduce you?

This scene was not written in the book. It is as if the characters are making up scenes that are entirely different from the book. 'Have they really turned to life?'

You tried to fight off those thoughts. 'This is silly', you thought.

"You are. Interesting, I mean," he laughed, almost maniacally.

"I don't understand," you blushed.

You silently scolded yourself as you felt your cheeks become hot. 'How can I blush in this situation?'

You stopped when you reached where he was. You looked him in the eye and tried your best to keep your eyes locked to his.

"Oh, don't you know how delectable you are, my sweet fruit? Have you never been had before?" he whispered in your ears.

His voice was sharp and edgy.

Like he wants to kill you at that instant but was trying his best to control himself.

'The voice of a mad man who was losing his self-control.'

"Who, who are you?" your voice faltered.

You placed your hand on your chest and tried to calm yourself.

Though you know him as the character you have written in the book, seeing him up close and feeling like you don't know him at all made you ask the question.

"Oh pretty doll, you know me, don't you?"

"How can I know you when this is the first time I met you."

"Don't be too harsh," he said in a dramatic melodrama voice of his.

"Was I not a byproduct of your dreams? A knight perhaps? Or a fairytale prince?"

"Or do you perhaps see me as the devil, the devil who comes to taint your soul?"

His eyes, the color of molten gold darkened. His aura made it almost impossible to breathe.

"I'm not scared of you Paris," you said, meeting his stare.

"So I am right, you know me after all," he chuckled.

"Your name precedes you," you said, putting on a brave facade.

"And what, I pray, does my name entail?" He licks his lips.

He finds this exchange amusing, that you can tell.

Your eyes focused on his lips that he just licked.

'What a sly little tongue,' you mused.

You wanted to kick yourself for thinking that way.

'How can you think such silly thoughts when your life is hanging by a thread?'

"The painter who is as much of an artist as he is a murderer. For your talent and your unbridled scandal, everyone refers to you as the artist of death," you said.

"Oh dear, what a horrible reputation I have. I never thought I'd enjoy my fame this much. But you see, I'd rather have them call me the artist of seduction for the number of women who will do everything to spend the night with me," he chuckled, amused and unrepentant.

You cannot fathom how this person found such a thing amusing.

But that was his charm.

He is not afraid of anything.

Be it a tainted reputation or a strong desire to kill.

He kills for no reason other than to entertain himself.

He is crazy. Even using the standard of Belmore, the sick city, Paris' insanity is off the charts.

And that is... admittedly... sexy.

'What are these things coming to my mind?'

You feel your heart pound harder in your chest as that silly thought crossed your mind.

'It would appear that things are getting complicated.'

"I think I will exhaust my welcome at this rate," he said, looking serious this time.

"You are staying here?” Your eyes widened in surprise.

"Well, of course, my sweet fruit. I haven't tasted you yet, after all," he said.

"I wonder if you will taste as sweet as you look." He chuckled as you stepped away from him.

"You see my dear, while your eyes were locked on his, I have just got my eyes on you," he said this like this was supposed to be a compliment.

You looked back at him and find him still staring at you.

"You are crazy," you said in a serious tone.

"The little doll tries to speak with her little tongue," he chided and smiled.

"Wrong move. Do you know how your bravery just fuels my interest?" he asked, unabashedly.

You quickened your steps.

Afraid that he can hear the fast beating of your heart.
