DAISUKE: Charades (His)

She tried to get up from bed without waking me up.

But I was not asleep. I was awake all night.

How can I sleep when the woman I longed for so long was just right beside me?

My self-control almost failed me.

Her gentle face, the heat coming from her body, and her lovely scent.

I miss everything about this woman.

"Hey, it's okay. I'm awake," I assured her.

"I'm sorry. Did I oversleep?" she asked apologetically.

I smiled. Thinking how we are like a married couple. Sleeping together. Waking up beside each other.

It is what I have always imagined with her.

"No, I just woke up myself, too," I lied to ease her from any guilt.

"Would you mind if we have breakfast together?" I asked her, hoping against hope she will let me.

I missed having breakfast with her.

I miss cooking her favorites and looking at her pretty face light up as she munched away.

I miss her telling me she'd like me to cook for her for the rest of her life. I'd say I’d love that.
