The rest of the day moved rather slower for Phoebe's liking. She would jump up with every honk of a car, rush to the door only to be disappointed. 


It was 10 in the night and Fiifi was fast asleep but she couldn't close her eyes. She kept thinking of a certain stranger whom her son claimed was in their house. 


She pulled the blanket around her tightly. The time on her phone read 10: 23pm. She sighed, fighting the urge to call and ask where Percy had reached. She was beginning to feel sleepy but she was too afraid to sleep. 


She kept telling herself that her husband was going to be home soon and then she could have her beauty sleep with no trouble in the world because then her super man would be right by her side and no one would dare hurt her or her baby. 


But who could win this battle between the eyes and sleep? Before she knew she was already snoring in the sofa with her legs dangling off the sofa arm.
