If it was the old me, I'd consider being happy for a split second. But how does one react upon seeing a long time fling who was somehow the cause of loosing the love of your life who was now your wife? 


Vera gave me that signature smile of hers that could melt a man's heart. But I wasn't melting. In fact I was boiling. 


 She beams, walking over to me and hugging me. I returned the hug, looking at my secretary and mouthing "what the hell?" 


"I am so sorry sir. I tried to keep her out but she wouldn't leave.." 


Mandy apologized shooting dargers at Vera . She didn't even look at her as she pushed past her and dropped on the chair across mine. 


I waved her off. I couldn't even get angry at her for disobeying me. Once Mandy turned to leave,we both sat there looking at each other. She was obviously checking me out but I was looking at her like,"how the hell did you find me!"
