Hi Mom, I miss you! [Not yet Edited]

Today the day dawned more colorful, smelly and illuminated, I feel the winds of change coming. Every dawn is a new beginning of a new day, today will be the beginning of my life.

Our things are already packed, well, Marcelo's things. My belongings are limited to what's in those two suitcases. Yesterday Me, Ana and Marcelo went to a furniture store and bought a bed and a wardrobe with the money i had left, will be delivered to our new house.

Ana and Pedro came to help us, we hired a small truck, it was all the change inside it. As we carry the move into our new home I can't help but smile, things finally seem to be going well for me. Around noon Laura arrives at the door.

"Children, the food is ready" Laura calls us affectionately.

"own, thank you!" I speak by giving a warm smile.

Let's go to Laura's house where the food is already on the table, a delicious aroma in the air. I didn't realize I was so hungry until I came in here and smelled it. Laura made a roast beef in the oven with potatoes and carrots, beans, rice, lettuce and tomato salad and to drink a passion fruit juice.

"you're getting used to me very badly, so I'm going to get 10 kilos on it!"

"I like to see the full house, and cooking is the way I found to bring close everyone I love" Laura speaks with joy and sincerity.

I was enjoying this new family of mine, reminds me of what I left behind. My mother raised: me and my brothers alone, I don't know who my father is and my mother never wanted to tell me. She always worked day and night to give us everything we needed, never let us miss anything. 'What an ungrateful daughter I am, abandoning my mother because of a heartless man' I think sad.

After lunch, Ana and I will fix up the kitchen and go home, finish packing my things.

I go into the house and get my phone, down the facebook app, i don't have an account, so register. Looking for Joana Mendes, pops up some suggestions I'll click down until I find her, my mother, she is different from what I remembered. I'll send you a friend request.

I'm arranging and looking anxiously at the phone waiting for confirmation of friendship.

30 minutes later...

I go to Marcelo's room and his things are almost tidy.

"It was a tiring day today, are you going to college today?"

"No, I'm too tired. I'm going to take a relaxing bath and sleep." Marcelo speaks yawning.

"I'm not going to work either, instead I'm going to my mother's house, I'm going to make peace with her," I talk hopefully in my eyes.

"okay, but be careful morro da caixa is one of the most dangerous hills in Florianópolis" Marcelo speaks worried.

"What bad can happen to me? Since I was born and raised there?" I speak with confidence.

"okay, but be careful it's never too much" he talks about giving me a kiss on the forehead.

I take a shower and put on jeans, a yellow strapt and a denim jacket on top. I let go of my hair and get in the car and drive to Morro da Caixa. I remember the tips Marcelo gave me whenever I enter the Hills from here, turned off the lighthouse, lowered the glass and climbed.

As I was going up wandering, I remembered my happy childhood through these streets and alleys. 'In this alley I gave my first kiss and on that street I took my first bike tumble.' I come to the entrance of the staircase, from here I would have to walk up, my mother's house is almost at the end of the staircase.

I get out of the car, close it and turn on the alarm.

On the first steps there are four teenagers, who should be between 15, 16 years old.

"What's the little lady wanting here on the Hill?" Speak the smallest of them.

"I'm going to visit my mom" I talk about trying to get past them.

"Mom? Who's your mother? We've never seen you here, Auntie." This is the other teenager.

"I think i'd better take it to the boss, she's smelling like a police spy" says the minor and puts a gun around my waist.

"Hey" I speak scared.

"sh sh be quiet, it's the boss who will decide what will happen to you" says what seemed to be the oldest of all.

They take me to the tallest house in Morro, I remember that my mother always forbade me to climb here, because this was the house of the owner of morro.

I was scared to death, tears flowed through my eyes, I knew that whoever came up here rarely came down alive.

"I'm not a police officer, I was born and raised here just like you just haven't been here in years. Please let me go" whimpering.

"I told you to be quiet" and punch me in the face and I feel my eyes swell.

The door opens, a medium-sized man, black hair, dark eyes like night, tanned skin, broad shoulders and spotted body.

"What are you doing? Why did you bring this woman here?" He speaks with an authoritarian and arrogant tone in his voice.

I know that voice, it can't be...
