Chapter 24 : Disappearance part 2

I was still shocked by hearing from Dina's mouth. Was it really true or she just falsely blaming me out of nowhere. Seeing everyone silent i already assumed the disappearance of Sina is not fake.

I covered my mouth to stop myself from being too startled. But really why do they think its me though even though they say i escaped but Sina wouldn't escape me with me would she ...?

My mind was already in a haze.

Still within that strange atmosphere where everyone was glaring at me with those eyes as if I am responsible for everything according to their testimonies I, straight forwardly asked -

"When did Sina disappeared ....?"

Dina reputed and told, "Didn't I told you already, you idio -

I asked sternly, "The timing I meant."

Seeing my stern look within them; they seemed to be surprised that I am not the Marlin that used to stutter and looked scared to the point I cant meet their eyes often but this time they are seeing a drastic change within me and that is all thanks to the new family I have and they supported me to go through this power.

Dina glowered but she couldn't said anything back.

Rather Jack started, "when you disappeared all of a sudden , we looked everywhere for you."

He also added , "we even decided each places to each person to look ,thoroughly, maybe Sina has gone to the garden, I assume..."

"So that means she hasn't returned from the garden" , Marlin, was lost in thought .

"Seeing her mumbling, Madame Rosalia asked in a

fret, "What are you mumbling about?", she looked pissed and haggard .

Dina replied, "Maybe, some gibberish thoughts like

She always do she's an idiot after all...."

After that, police inspector came to talk about the disappearance case. Looks like she already informed the police about the matter.

The police inspector's face look troubled and said

" I am sorry , ma'am . We have been searching for hours since yesterday. But we cant even find one sign of her clue. Its more like she vanished into another world."

Marlin was in heed to his words. She was hearing all the conversation from a secret spot. Because it might be a matter related to her and she has to be one to solve all this Problems herself ; because for her this all happened. If her intention is right then its a major problem and she doesn't want to to involve the police into this or here life would be over even before she knew it.

"Umm inspector" , I raised my hand while coming forward to them.

The both adults looked behind, to see me approaching them. Rather , madame Rosalia showed a giddy expression and a sign to not involve me in the matter and go away, But I acted dumb-

"Officer", I acted pitiful.

While seeing me in fear which was of course an act . I tend to divert the officer's, attention to somewhere else while I fix the problem personally myself. What I am about to spout would be a shock to everyone but only I knew about this.

Sina, she's basically the most cruelest person among the three who hates me to the core and also the type to torture me every time she gets near me . But she's the type who gets obsessed with handsome guys and would do anything to obtain their love. Shes only a type of gold digger .

So she had a boyfriend in secret.

But you know why I am interfering their love life like this ? You see Sina's boyfriend is a dangerous person even though sina knew but she ignored it because at his handsome face....

In fact he is a gangster and a drug dealer.

"Please look into "Joseph Sean", if I am correct

they both might have a romantic relationship.

They used to see each other at night time .That can also be that they might elope ....I don't know," Marlin said normally.

"Hmm....", the police officer pondered.

He then patted my head saying thanks then he left the place . He bowed while going back to Madame Rosalia ensuring he will try his best on order to find Sina as soon as possible.

While he left what I really was expecting to Madame Rosalia to shout at me for revealing all of this to the officer, but she didn't react. Rather she asked me why

I hadn't said it sooner to her.

She had a glum look. Looks like she is depressed to the fact that her first child is lost.

Well, a mother is a mother of course.

But seeing her expression, I really wished, "Ah, if I had that feeling, a motherly love." But Marlin wasn't sad because she has a mother too who loves her more than anything and she is contented with that fact only.

After she left with tears in her eyes. I went to the garden. After all I had to check.

The door was still there. She took a deep breathe for the door to open. She had to make sure that Sina is really not on the other side of the world. As she was about to open the door what was horrifying is that the door wasn't opening at all. Even though she pulled her with all her might; she couldn't break through it. After struggling a lot, she collasped on the floor gasping for breathe.

"Why wont it open...?", Marlin was scared.

Even after trying for several days , it was impossible for Marlin to open the door but she thought maybe it was something else and ignored it and focused on caring for her grandma.

But Marlin's days weren't all comfortable at all . She tried to stay as much as possible beside her Grandma's side but fate can be so cruel. More like Marlin's thoughts were crumbled right in-front of her when she saw her grandma's painful look.

But in the end , she didn't survive.

After struggling for a bit, the gods finally pitied her so maybe to not cause her pain anymore she finally felt peace by leaving the world and finally reunited with her loved one.

In the end the last to see her dying face was Marlin. The funeral took place the next day-

"Grandmother, our last goodbye was never said. I'm missing you more than I could ever tell you."

"I'll always admire the love shared between you and your grandma .You shared a one-of-kind bond that can never be broken.", Aunt said while she came beside her.

She also added -

"Your grandmother is a remarkable woman. She's a wonderful combination of warmth and kindness,

laughter and love", she made a sad look.

"I'm deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved grandma . You complemented each other like no other people I know. May your precious memories bring you comfort.", she comforted me while saying this .

Marlin cried her eyes out but she tried to remain strong.

After the funeral was over . Marlin was staring at the car taking the dead body away . She stood there unscathed; after that the aunt came and handed a drink to Marlin to calm her down.

"Here take this ", she handed it over .

"Thank you..", Marlin gave a fade smile.

Aunt scratched her hair for a while before speaking.

"To be honest i wanted to keep it a secret from you but you know your grandma has a big secret.."

Marlin looked at her with full curiosity. After seeing her eyes Aunt said -

"Your grandmother is actually not from this world..."
