Chapter 80 I have faith in you

The next day, both Luna and Graham woke up together in the morning. Luna was first going to see the Kindergarten that they had chosen for Dylan. They talked about it in the night and suggested that they should take Dylan to a Kindergarten. Leaving the house together, Luna and Dylan left in one car and Graham also left in another. Luna reached the Kindergarten and talked with the administrators who assured her that they have the best services and that she shouldn't worry about anything. Initially, Graham wanted to come with her but she didn't like the idea because she wanted their son to be treated like other kids which he accepted. After ensuring the good services, she signed the contract and decided to leave him with them. She was coming for him in the evening. She started to move when he came and clung to her tightly clutching her skirt. He started sobbing as he said," Mama. Don't leave me here." Luna suddenly wanted to change her mind and take him with her. Maybe he was still young and perhaps they can take him at work after all it was his father's workplace. "Don't worry Miss Luna. He will be fine. That's how they all start but they eventually get used. Leave him with us," said a preschool teacher who caught him in her hands. "But.....will he be fine?"she asked worriedly. "Yes please trust me. You can take your leave now," she assured her and she left despite hearing Dylan's pleas. She decided to hurry before she changes her mind.

She drove to Cullen Enterprises to find Graham. It wasn't a long drive. After parking, she stood in front the tall building. It wasn't as big and long as what they had in Blue City but it wasn't small either. Taking a deep breath, she entered the building and asked the receptionist who directed her towards his office. Knocking on the door, she heard him tell her to enter.

"Why did you have to knock?" he asked when he saw her enter. "I didn't want to interrupt," she said as she sat opposite him. "How did things go?" "I left him crying. It was so sad leaving him. But they told me that he will be fine." "Yes, He will be fine with time. How are you?" he asked as he stood up and came to where she was sitting. "I-I am f-fine. Just a little s-sad, " she stammered as she noticed his closeness. It was affecting her. "You shouldn't be. I am here with you," he said as he brushed his finger on her bottom lip.

She looked straight in his eyes and he lifted her off her seat before making her sit on the office table. He parted her legs before standing in between her making her face turn in embarrassment. Startled, she said, "G-Graham we're in the office." "I know. I won't do anything. I promise," he said in a husky voice that didn't relax her at all. He slowly bent towards her and she unconsciously closed her eyes and parted her lips in anticipation for a kiss. He saw this and smiled before he kissed her slowly and gently. He kissed both her lips alternately and she responded by wrapping her hands around his neck. But then suddenly, they heard the door open and Luna quickly pushed him away and jumped off the table which didn't please him.

"I'm so sorry. You guys should have locked the door," said Vikram. Luna's face turned red in embarrassment. Graham glared at him and he immediately excused himself before leaving the office room.

"Uhm....So what will I be doing?" she asked.

He decided to stop teasing her and gave her documents and on reading them, she immediately said," I can't manage this. I've never done anything like this." "There's always a first time for everything. I believe you can. I don't think Carter corporations hires any incompetent workers. Or does it?" he asked.

"Of course not. But the post of Vice President is so huge. I don't think I can manage it."

"I have faith in you. I trust you."

After much convincing, Luna finally accepted and was taken to her office which was just next to his. She looked at the vast office and couldn't believe that it was hers. She vowed to work hard so that she doesn't disappoint him because he believed in her. She started by reviewing everything about the company and everything that the former Vice President did. Her day was hectic but fortunately, Graham didn't come to distract her. He would only call her to ask if she's fine or doesn't need anything.

Finally, it reached evening and they left the office together. They went to Dylan's school and Graham remained in the car as she went inside to pick him up. She anticipated that he must have cried the whole day but she was surprised when she saw him playing and laughing with other kids and he seemed to be fine.

Then the teacher approached her, and said," I told you he will be fine. He cried shortly when you left and then started playing with his friends." "Okay. Thank you so much. Let's take our leave now," she said and called Dylan who came running towards her and hugged her tightly. "Mama!!" he exclaimed and Luna carried her as they left and walked towards the waiting car. When they reached, Graham got him and made him sit on his lap and they headed home.
