Chapter 109 It's too late

"Tricks? What do you mean?" she was confused. "The match silly. Didn't you see the trick he just made?!!!" she exclaimed once again.

"Hey I'm not getting what you're talking about seriously," Luna thought that she wasn't getting her probably because she was just from sleep. "You mean you're not at the field?" asked Bella confused. She had to be there supporting him. "What are you talking about Bella?" "About the racing match that Graham is participating in. I at least thought that you're there with him. Bye," Bella hung up.

Luna remained confused. Match? Then a certain realisation struck her. Today was the match. She hurriedly switched on the TV and on closer look, she was surprised at what she saw. Graham was seriously among the seven people that were participating in the match!! She felt her head spinning. What in the world is he doing?!!!!

What confused her the more was that Freddie Cruise was also participating. What the fuck was Graham doing?!!! Did he want to die? She noticed that his car was the one leading and suddenly the image of his car summersaulting two years ago flashed in her mind and she immediately switched off the TV trembling. She didn't want to see that if it happens. But then she thought, if it happened again she wouldn't know. She switched it on again and started pacing back and forth. Graham was sure done for. When did he come back from the business trip? Did any of his family members know what he was doing?

Back to the match, Graham emerged victorious as usual and his fans were uproaring in excitement. He waved at them with a charming smile and the reporters swarmed around him each asking different questions.

"Mr Cullen welcome back!! That was indeed a great come back," one asked.

"Many people have been thinking that you won't do car racing ever again given the last episode. What do you have to say to them?" asked another.

"Did you get to know the culprit responsible for the accident?"

"What do you have to say about what you experienced two years ago?"

"When is your wedding with Miss Ciara Roberts?"

"Should your fans expect a permanent come back from you?"

There were lots of questions to answer and Graham tried tackling them all by saying," First and foremost, I would like to thank God for giving me a second chance to life. Secondly, I thank my fans for all these years of support. You've really been with me since the beginning till the end. And it's from here that I announce that I'm quitting the sports industry permanently because I now have a family to consider. Because of what happened two years ago, I didn't get to spend time with my son and therefore I don't want anything like that to happen again. I kindly ask my fans to understand me. And about the culprit, we know who was behind it and soon, he is going to be exposed. Once again, thank you my fans for everything. That is all I have to say. "

Almost everyone was dumbfounded about the news of Graham Cullen having a son. But most importantly his fans were disappointed. He was quitting permanently? The reporters began firing him with questions once again,

"Mr Cullen, we didn't know that you and Ciara Roberts had a son."

"When are we meeting the prince?"

"How old is the prince Mr Cullen?"

"Why did you keep him a secret?"

He calmly said," You will know everything about my son when the time is right. I promise that soon, he will be introduced to the world. Excuse me."

With that, he left and headed to accomplish the task he was left with. Reaching the rest room, he turned on the faucet and splashed cold water in his face when he heard footsteps coming his way. He raised his face and saw Freddie approaching him. "It's good you're quitting. But it's too late. How I wish you did it sooner," he said as he came closer to him. "So that you organise a farewell party for me?" asked Graham. "Exactly, but don't worry. I am surely going to give you a very good remembrance," with that, he got his gun and aimed at him. "You weren't satisfied with what you did two years ago?" asked Graham unfazed. "No, because here you are. You didn't die but I won't make you experience what you did two years back. I will make it fast this time," he said and continued," Your son sure resembles you and your woman is pretty. I'm taking your family with me when I'm done with you. I will make her mine."

Graham gritted his teeth when he mentioned about taking his family. Freddie continued," You can say your last prayers now. I have a flight to board." Looking at him, Graham said," I think it's too late." Freddie pulled the trigger but nothing happened. He did it again and his eyes widened in realisation that it was empty.
