Chapter 112 I won't let her

His heart paused and then resumed thudding at a fast rate. He looked at her not knowing what to say. Did she hear him?

"You're okay?" she asked as she approached him. "Y-yes. I'm fine. When did you come here?" he asked worriedly. She came and stood behind him before gently massaging his shoulders and said," Just a while ago. Who's that Freddie guy stressing you?" So she heard him mention his name. "H-he is not important. Just work related issues," he said as her hands did magic on him. He released a sigh of relief after knowing that she didn't get the whole conversation. He didn't know how he was going to explain to her because he wasn't ready at all. "You should rest when you come home, Ethan. You work throughout the entire day," she complained. " It was just a simple thing. When you left me, I became bored and decided to pass time while doing something productive. Where had you gone?" he asked her. "I was helping Leah with her homework and now she is sleeping," she said and he pulled her to sit on his lap. He was so glad to find someone who bonded so well with his daughter. Anyone who saw Bella and Leah would automatically think that it was mother and daughter. He caressed her cheek then brought his lips on her earlobe and whispered," Why don't we do something fun?" She blushed before replying," You know we can't."

"Why? Oh....." He groaned in frustration when he remembered that she was on her period. It was so much torture for him to wait. "How many days again?" he asked. "Four." He groaned once again on noticing that he had to wait for four days. It was too much for him but there was nothing to do.

Back to Blue City, Luna was in her office when she heard a knock on the door and told the person to come in. As usual, her secretary had brought a bouquet of flowers and she placed them among the other bouquets in her office. Ever since that day, Graham had made it a point to send flowers to her office everyday not until she forgave him but she hadn't softened yet. It was hard for her too but she had to do it. Looking at the bouquets in her office, her heart ached for him. She was brought out of her daze when she heard her phone ringing. Oh Abigail. Her wedding was just in a week's time. "Yes, bride to be?" she answered. "Oh my, don't even mention. I'm so nervous as hell." "It's so normal. It happens to every bride. You shouldn't worry." "Yes, I get it. Are you busy this evening?" she asked. "Not really. You wanted something?"

"Yes. I was wondering if you could accompany me to pick up both our dresses," she said.

"It's okay, I will accompany you," Luna agreed.

As agreed in the evening, both women went and picked up their dresses. It was Abigail's wedding gown and Luna's bridesmaid dress.

After getting them, they suggested to visit a new restaurant in the mall.

"How are things between you two?" asked Abigail. "They will get better. Is your Dad fine now?" Luna asked. Raphael Cullen had gotten a stroke after seeing Graham participate in the match and it's the reason why Luna decided to prolong his punishment. "Yes, he's okay now. Thanks to the wedding, he was able to get over it," she said.

Away from that, Elena had gotten information that Luna and her son were staying in Graham's Villa and she now understood that their relationship was worrying. Her hatred for her knew no bounds. "That woman wants to snatch away everything that I want. I won't let her," she declared.

Back home, Graham was on the couch waiting for Luna. It was eight in the evening but she hadn't returned yet. She had never returned home this late and he wondered where she could be. Hearing footsteps, he saw her entering the house holding something and from it's appearance, he assumed it was a dress.

"Welcome back. I was waiting for you," he said. "You didn't have to. I was with Abigail," she said and he felt relieved that she was not alone. "Okay, Can we talk Luna?" he asked again. He had been asking that question everyday. "No, I'm tired," she said and started walking away when he came following behind her," Is that what you're going to say everyday? I realized that Dylan has started noticing that we are not okay." She paused and looked at him before asking," And whose fault is it?" "At first it was mine but now it's yours. You don't want us to patch things up." "Ohhhh... So now it's my fault? Okay, I'm responsible for everything, it's my fault that you lied so stay away from me," she said before continuing to walk to Dylan's room and he continued following her. "Did you like the flowers I- "

She closed the door without letting him finish what he was saying.
