"You don't have a problem with it?" she asked and he sighed before saying," However much I don't like him, Bella is your friend and if it makes you feel better then I can't refuse you." She couldn't believe it. She looked at him and said," Thank you so much."

"It's nothing. When do you want to leave?" he asked. "As soon as possible. Can I go tomorrow? I need to stop her from getting married." "Married?" he was confused. "Yes, that she's getting married," she stated and he chuckled. "What's funny?" "Nothing. How's Carter feeling?" he asked clearly amused. "I don't know and I don't think it's funny." He was finding the situation amusing since Ethan's woman was marrying another person. "You're right it's not funny. I don't think I will be able to come with you because I have so much work at the company. Will you be alright?" he asked. "Yes, I will be fine. You shouldn't worry." "When are you coming back?" "Probably in three days if it's okay," she said and however much he didn't want to, he nodded.

Standing in front of the window, she looked outside the empty streets. It had just stopped raining and there was no one at sight probably because the rain had driven everyone inside to seek shelter. She was startled from of her thoughts by a voice," Zelda, it's getting late. Ain't you coming with us?" It seemed the employees were leaving for home. Forcing a smile, she said," You shouldn't worry about me. You go ahead." Nodding, they left and when they left the building, one said," You didn't know? She's always dropped home by our CEO. She's definitely waiting for him to finish so that they can leave." "Really? How lucky, she has just joined us," the other murmured. "Indeed. But she's so beautiful. I heard that even that ring on her finger was given by him. That they are engaged, but don't dare say it to someone else," she warned her. "I promise I won't. Tell me more," their voices faded away as they walked further.

Still looking outside the window, a male voice startled her this time," You're ready to go?" "Yes, let's go," she said as she picked up her bag from her desk and they proceeded towards the parking lot.

After fifteen minutes, his car parked so that she could head to her condominium. Before she could get out, she said," Thank you so much for everything Liam. You've really been a good friend." "I can't thank you enough for agreeing to marry me. It really means a lot to me. So, on Sunday I'm picking you up for a date, be ready," he told her and she nodded before leaving his car.

When she was in her bed, she got her laptop and checked on Luna's company. A smile came to settle on her face. She was so proud of her. It was growing tremendously.

Then she typed in another name and Ethan's information displayed his pictures inclusive. A longing look passed in her eyes. She missed him so much. Even though she was angry at him, she loved him equally, or even more. She traced his face with her finger on the screen. After that, she sighed and closed the laptop before placing it back on the bedside table. This had become a daily thing for her to do. She covered her head and closed her eyes to force some sleep.

When Luna reached Ethan's Villa, she was surprised at how empty it looked. She walked passed the gate and that's when she caught sight of the butler who seemed to be coming towards her. "Miss Luna, it's been long. Mr Alex is expecting you," he told her to which she nodded and they went inside. To the study room, she was taken where she found Alex who was sitting with Ethan. When their eyes met, Luna could straight away see the coldness his blue eyes emitted. The last time they saw each other, they did not separate on good terms. When she sat down with them, Ethan said," I didn't expect to see you again, Luna." "That can't be avoided if we have a common aspect," said Luna and he raised his brows in question. Up to now, he didn't know anything. Alex had only come this morning and told him that Luna was coming to discuss something important with him.

"I think we should reach straight to the point to save time," said Alex and after taking a deep breath, Luna looked at Ethan and said," We found Bella." He stayed silent and looked at her expressionless.
