Chapter 138 Losing his mind

In the whole of the week, Ethan tried his level best to behave towards the end. During the weekend, he went to his parents to see them and also check on Leah because he missed her and also didn't want to be home with Bella the whole day for that would test his patience. Spending the whole day with them, he came back in the evening. Entering the house, he didn't find Bella in the sitting room and in the kitchen which meant that she was in her room. He looked at her room door for a very long time before he made way to his own room.

The next morning, he woke up early as usual and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. As he was still preparing the breakfast, he saw Bella coming to the kitchen with a face that seemed to be grumpy. She passed by him without saying anything and made her way towards the fridge, got out juice and some snacks before leaving. Didn't she see that he was preparing breakfast? He didn't get what it was about. Was she on her period?

What he didn't know is that she was grumpy because she had anticipated the both of them spending the weekend together yet he left hurry in the morning only to come back in the evening. As he had just finished, she came back and washed the glass before replacing it back, and she turned to leave.

He caught her wrist on time and pulled her back before asking," What is it?" She kept quiet and he knew that something was wrong.

He tried to recall if he had done something wrong but none crossed his mind. He leaned closer and whispered," You look ugly when you're grumpy." "No, you're lying!! " she exclaimed and he chuckled. With his thumb, he traced her bottom lip and she unconsciously closed her eyes. Using this opportunity, he leaned forward and captured her lips into a gentle kiss.
