After the meal, they sat in the sitting room and Mr Carter said," Alicia came and took Leah for a week. She also asked me to tell that you two need to meet once in a while with Leah so that your separation doesn't affect her." Mrs Carter placed her hand on top of her husband's as if reminding him that Bella was here. The atmosphere was going to turn awkward. Ethan who noticed this said," It's okay Mom. Bella knows everything. Spending time with Leah has no problem after all she's her mother but I, meeting with her is impossible. Leah won't be affected because she got used to it already and she has Bella. I hope you rely my message to her." They nodded before Mrs Carter asked Bella," How is he treating you? Is he troubling you?" Bella smiled as she answered," Not at all. He's just overprotective. He doesn't want me to do anything." "It's because you're in a delicate stage," she said and Ethan used this opportunity to say," Thank you Mom. I told her to leave work but she refused." Bella glared at Ethan. How could he report her to his parents? She had to make a good first impression. Mrs Carter smiled at this and said," Ethan is just like his Dad. But if the pregnancy has no complications then she can work and just be careful as well as not exhausting herself." Ethan at this rate was disappointed in his mother. He thought that she was going to help him stop her from working.

Bella used this chance to say," I promise to be very careful Mrs Carter." She smiled and said," Don't call me that. Call me Mom, just like he does because you're now part of our family. By the way Ethan, when is the wedding?"

Ethan scratched his head before saying," Uhm...Mom as soon as possible. I'm working on it." Mr Carter this time said," Better hurry up or else we shall prepare everything by ourselves." It isn't that he was not thinking about it, but he thought that they had to first sort out things between themselves and then Luna's side.

In the evening, they bid farewell to them and left. Bella couldn't believe that such wealthy people could be that sweet. I didn't want you to go there alone so if you want me to apologise then I will do it."

"I don't want you to apologise because I said so. Do it only if you find it deserving considering what you did. I honestly would like you two to get along and I know that also Luna hopes for the same. But I doubt Graham thinks the same way, anyway you will do what you have to do," she told him to which he nodded.

"When is the party?" he asked. "In three weeks. But we shall leave in two weeks. I would like to spend some time with them. But of course that is if you're okay with it," she said and with that, they agreed to leave for Blue City in two weeks.
