Through out the five years, Luna and Graham got another child, a daughter and she was named Darlene Cullen. She had made two years and Graham greatly doted on her because first, she was a girl and second he got to see every step of her existence unlike Dylan. Graham had transferred seventy percent shares of Luna's company in her name making her the legal owner of the company just like he had planned. The company had grown tremendously and it now employed over a thousand people with multiple branches in different regions.
Having shares in Howells corporations too, Luna's responsibilities had multiplied but nonetheless, family was always her priority. Her husband had been so supportive as always and to her, he was the best husband and father in the whole world.
Luna was in a meeting with a very important client but she was frustrated. She was exhausted and wanted to go home but the man kept on pushing the conversation yet they had covered all the important points. When she had enough of it, she said," Okay Mr Palmer, I think we should stop here. It's quite late." She saw him lick his lips before saying," Oh, that's right. Uhm...Allow me take you for dinner today, Luna. Just a simple meal." Luna immediately understood his intentions and said," It's Luna Cullen or Mrs Cullen for you Mr Palmer. I'm a married woman and about the dinner, I'm sorry I have to reject it. Thank you."
She saw him smile mischievously and then placed his hand on top of hers that was resting at the table then started massaging it and she immediately pulled away her hand glaring at him. Before she could say a thing, he beat her to it and said," You don't have to pretend with me. So what if you're married? I'm also married but we can have fun. None of our partners will know about it," he said looking at her intently.
Luna then realized that the situation is more serious than she had thought. She knew that she couldn't scream because no one would hear her. Her office was quite a distance from her Assistant's. She decided to act calm and said," I'm not interested in your offer Mr Palmer. I'm more than contented with my partner." With that, he stood up and she immediately followed suit. She had to be alert and prepare for what he was planning to do. He slowly walked around the table maintaining eye contact so that he could get to her as she kept on walking the opposite direction to maintain the distance. "I'm not going to hurt you. I just want us to talk," he said calmly. Luna slowly picked her phone to call for help when suddenly the door was opened and in came her saviour. She saw that it was Graham and she released a sigh of relief.
Graham on opening the door felt the atmosphere tense and asked," Anything wrong? Did I interrupt something?" "N-no. Mr Palmer was just leaving," she told him and Immediately ran to his embrace. She was now feeling protected. Graham felt like that wasn't all but he couldn't pinpoint what the matter was exactly.
"What a surprise! Good evening Mr Cullen," said the man and Graham just nodded in affirmation. "We were almost done here. I will take my leave now. Please excuse me," he said and glanced at Luna before leaving the office.
"Won't you tell me what happened?" Graham asked after several minutes of scrutinizing her. She told him what transpired and he was raged by the end of the conversation. "Did he touch you?" he asked. "Only my hand that's all," she answered. "Why didn't you tell me when he's still here so that I could teach him a lesson?" he asked. "I don't know I think I was scared." "You shouldn't be scared. Give me a moment," he muttered before making a few phone calls and after he said," You don't have to worry about him anymore. He's already dealt with." "What do you mean by that?"she asked worriedly. "That he won't trouble you ever again. You will never see him again," he assured. She frowned and asked," What did you do to him?" His eyes narrowed in displeasure and asked," Why? You care about him?" "Of course not. The only one I care about is you. I don't want you doing bloody things," she said worriedly. "If you're worried that I might kill him then it's not that. He will live but you won't encounter him ever again," he said and she nodded in relief.
"So, why did you come here today?" she suddenly remembered and asked. "Come on, my darling wife. I came to pick you up from work today," he said as he picked her handbag and keys then they left the office.
