The frozen wastelands.
This was that this area was now called.
Millions and millions of people had died from this single attack with the empire's soliders and citizens not being spared.
However, there was no way they could say anything against her.
This was how much power the High Archons held.
The 5000 square are around the point of explosion was shown to have been completly turned into everfrost up to 30m deep into the earth, a type of ice that would stay frozen for the next century. Nothing could grow or survive within these lands and was now just a world of ice.
The remainder of the area was now perpetually cold all year around.
And this event actually caused the upcoming wintered to become even harsher from that year on as the cold winds from the frozen wastelands drift down every winter.
"But Shin, there is a stronger being of mana than High Archons." Hendrick spoke.
"Stronger...?" Shin shivered at the thought. Stronger than the Ice Queen?
"They don't call themselves anything but inherit a title of ancient gods. There are 4 of them in total at this moment."
The first Mage God was Poseidon. The Mage God who devoted his entire life to the magic of water and currently reside in the western sea and contain the dark mages from venturing out into the ocean by maintaining a giant one hundred meter tall wall of water that covered the sea of the entire western side of the continent.
He currently was the owner of Atlantis, the ancient city that had long fallen deep into the depths where he resided alone alongside the various monsters of the depths.
Any demon or dark mage that decided to float out into the waters of the western border will be ambushed by the aquatic monsters of the depths as well as the chaotic currents of the sea.
And if they ever managed to reach the wall, they would be welcomed by an impenetrable wall of water, with currents so strong that nothing could penetrate it without getting swept down into the depths, as far as the eyes could see. Of course they could try to ride their boat up north or south and go around this wall but this also had issues.
The north side was guarded by 6 high archons and the royal fleet. They also had to pass through the waters before the frozen wastelands and the Ice Queen terrified them even.
The south side was coverfed with giant chaotic currents of the chaos sea. The Chaos Sea covered the majority of the southern ocean and was an area covered by various whirlpools, violent currents and a heavy mist that covered the lands all year along.
Also Gaia existed in the south. The Second Mage God.
She resided in the jungles of the south and was the master of the entire jungle and the earth within it. Tihs entire jungle didn't exist prior to her existence as the south had been a desert for a millania. However, on the day of her awakening into the 10th circle a giant wave of life force exploded out from her and raised up a giant jungle that carved out almost a sixth of the entire continent with trees.
Gaia was very secluded from the rest of the world and stayed within the jungle. Granting a place to call home for the minor races of elves, dwarves and dragonians. The elves lived by the 'Gaia Tree' within the central area of the jungle. A tree that sprung up a kilometer into the air and where Gaia holed herself up in. Their main job was to maintain the forest and tend to all fauna and flora within it.
The dwarves lived in the 'Southedge Mountain Range' and spent the majority of their times finding valuable gems and gold. A majority of this was sent into the empire as orders of Gaia but they were allowed to keep a small portion which they used to create various artifacts.
The draconians lived near the western outskirts of the jungle where it was still a desert. Unlike their name, they weren't related to dragons however. They were a humanoid reptillian race that enjoyed the heat and were masters of handling glass and clay. The majority of glassware and pottery of the empire hailed from the draconians.
However, despite her wanting to just hole up upon her own jungle, she could not do so due to the orders of the Third Mage God.
The Third Mage God did not inherit an ancient god's title. This was because he wasn't a human being but rather a dragon. Of course he wasn't just any ordinary dragon as the majority of dragons had power similar to archons but rather the ruler of all dragons, the Dragon Lord. His true name was unknown to the public as he calls himself Argos.
The Dragon God had no specific element as he had existed ever since the ancient times and had mastered the various elements with no limit to the knowledge of humans. His strength was unmatched by all as even Poseidon and Gaia actually follow his orders when needed.
And Gaia was responsible for holding back their enemies on the southwestern end of the battlefield as well as managing the coast of the southwestern side under the orders of the Dragon God.
The Dragon God was the main force who contended against the dark mages and the evilspawn of the west. As the dark and corrupted mana was a natural enemy of pure mana, the dragons considered the dark mages and the demons of the west as their natural enemies. The dragons were a race of mana and anything that threatened the existence of mana was their enemy.
The Dragon God was also the godfather of the current emperor.
The fourth mage god was a mystery. His existence was known as the Tower Head and was granted the title of Chronos. His main element being space and time. He was also the oldest of all Mage Gods, even including the Dragon Lord, as the Mage Tower had been standing in that exact place since the primordial days which was even long before ancient era.
