chapter 6 Eagles attack

Still Faridah is taking deep breaths and getting relaxed, the eagles started attacking her, she was wounded and the eagles took the treasure bag from her and pushed her down the mountain so hard that she rolled in a cross direction near the waterfall and swept away in the cold water of the stream . As soon as she got the hold on herself she started swimming thanking the Almighty for saving her life and also she thanked her parents and teachers who taught her swimming. She was unable to get any idea as to where she was swimming and she didn't know where she would reach when she crossed the river. She was lost completely in the vast river and too tired to swim any further. Still she had to swim until she reached the bank of the river, and that was too far and she didn't know how much more she had to swim. She believed in the Almighty and so she started her regular prayer . She asked for help with the strong faith and belief that she would definitely get the help. She also stated in her prayer that now onwards she would stop daydreaming of such magical powers and wand and that she would live a normal life as all others do. She even asked forgiveness for her childish behavior. Soon after she completed her prayer, a mermaid came beside her and looked into her eyes. Faridah was taken aback and could not believe what she saw. She sprinkled some water in her eyes and rubbed them . Then she looked up at the mermaid and it was real .She was more beautiful than the pictures described. Lovely mermaid with golden hair and beautiful body like a fish designed beautifully and so colorful that it had all rainbow colors that too in their sequence. The mermaid introduced herself " I'm Samaka Zahab. I'm here to save you and you're invited by our Queen who lives deep down this river . Come on,sit on my back and I'll take you there. "

Faridah was astonished on hearing this. She asked her why was she saved by her and why was she invited. The mermaid said that she was the servant of the Queen and she had to obey the commands and that whatever questions arise she can ask to the Queen. Faridah sat on her back and she dived vertically in the river. The dive was so intense and horrible that Faridah closed her eyes and her body shook up and she tightened her grip on the mermaid. Soon they arrived in a magnificent place, beautiful, serene, calm and full of mermaids who enjoyed with each other and there was a giant palace in front of her white as fresh snow and with uncountable rooms . Samaka Zahab led her to the Queen and introduced her to the Queen. The Queen told her "My dear Faridah, welcome here in the mermaid palace. I know the questions inside your mind and I will answer them all . First of all, you sit down on this golden sofa . " Faridah sat down looking at the Queen and mesmerized by the atmosphere she was in. The Queen began " I am Samaka Yaqut and I'm the Queen of all the mermaids living here. This river belongs to me and the fact is that it is unknown to the humans. Nobody knows about this river and uptil now nobody has come here . You are the first human to visit the river and also this palace. I want to know how did you come here. "

Faridah became afraid and she was so terrified that she began to cry thinking that she wouldn't be spared now. Samaka Yaqut came near her and kept her hands on her shoulder and calmed her down. She said " Don't be afraid, we won't harm you . I have the ability to hear what's happening in my river and so I heard your prayers and that is the reason I sent by servant for rescuing you. You will not get the way out of here on your own and if you kept swimming you could have been drowned. I don't want anyone to get hurt in my territory. I will help you get out of here but for that I need to know from where you came."

Faridah was now relaxed and she wiped her tears and started telling her mountain adventure which brought her in the river. After listening the whole story Samaka Yaqut whispered some prayer and took out one magical wand, shining as bright as the sun and Faridah was so mesmerized by that bright light that she almost lost her vision. Her head was aching, her body shivered. Soon she fainted.
