Damn Truth

Mars paced quickly, leaving his beer to buy and Caleb behind him. He seemed angry and upset. The girl who captivated him was a Wright, more precisely the daughter of Abraham Wright, Jared Wright's little sister. He became more upset by the fact that he had just found out about it today.

Caleb can read Mars' apparent posture. He didn't buy anything and walked along with Mars to the lobby towards the parking lot. And at the exit, Caleb followed Mars.

"Now I know why she's hidden, and I can't find anything about her!" Caleb said abruptly in a slightly high tone for Mars to hear. Mars stopped his move. He then closed his eyes several times and took a heavy breath. He kept it that way for a while until Caleb got closer to him.

"Jared Wright hid her from you!" Caleb continues again. Mars turns his body towards Caleb, who is standing behind him.

"For what?"

"Because he doesn't want his sister to see you." Mars frowned and shook his head continuously. He throws his gaze in the other direction while thinking what the most rational reason is. Do people hate him that much?

"I will never involve women and children in my war!" exclaimed Mars with a low but growling tone.

'But he doesn't know that!" Caleb's rebuttal is watching Mars clenching his jaw and walking a few steps closer to him. He put both hands in his pocket while Mars was still staring at him. There's a sense of disappointment that Caleb read from Mars' stares.

"Now that you know who she is, what are you going to do?" asked Caleb after. Mars fell silent and began to begin with his mind. He seemed to think hard but didn't understand how he felt. He kept his eyes closed and let out a rant like he regretted something.

"I hate God!" Mars murmured his rant, then turned around and went to his car. Caleb can only shake and follow him behind the wheel of a car next to Mars that had been inside a minute earlier. Mars continues to hold his forehead while Caleb turns on the engine and drives off to went off the parking lot.

"Do you like her?" Caleb asked after a 15-minute drive, and they stayed silent after they are on the highway. Mars sighed and still hasn't spoken.

"No. I can't!" Mars murmured a while he spoke. He continues to look outside instead of gazing at Caleb. Caleb nodded silently.

"I have a hunch, but I hope you're not upset!" Caleb then responds to Mars. Mars glanced at him when Caleb was still driving.

"You are gonna end up like Romeo's story but, it'll be more hate and blood," Caleb continued. Mars chuckles sarcastically at his fate, but he then stares straight at his stern face.

"So, you like that Wright girl, don't you? But can't have her!" Caleb still keeps talking to Mars, who keeps looking at him. Mars didn't let go of the view at all before he then stared straight ahead.

"You know what, sometimes you are too bold, you always forget that I am your boss! "Mars responded to Caleb's annoying prediction. Caleb chuckles as he grins and continues to stare down the street.

"That's why you stay with me ... boss," replied Caleb peeked a glimpse and smirked at Mars. Mars smiled vaguely but did not accept or refuse.

"Then why did you say something like that just now to me?" Mars asks for more. Caleb snorts a little.

"I don't know. Maybe it's because I know you too well."

"because I knew you from the kid, I was your private bodyguard since you were eight, and I've been noticing you ever since. I knew when you like or dislike something." Mars continues to listen to Caleb talk and look to his right side of the window. Caleb did know him too well. They've been together since childhood and even had their group with two other friends in high school.

"But you have to know one thing, Mars. I'll stay by your side no matter what," Caleb continued.

"What do you mean, Caleb?"

"Once you're in love, there will be war. A great war between Wright and King!" Caleb then turned to Mars with a seriously straight face.

" I'm not in love!" Caleb smirked a little on his lips to hear Mars' statement.

"Let's hope it's true!" Caleb just nodded in faith in Mars.

But Caleb's final argument is now disturbing Mars' mind. Of course, it is not loving. Mars pays attention to the girl. He attracted to her eyes, doesn't he? Doesn't Mars feel anything else? Because in his heart, he felt a different warmth when he looked at the girl named Vanylla.

SATURDAY NIGHT

Tonight, Vanylla will fulfill her promise to Katy to go to The Devil Club, a famous nightclub in downtown LA. Vanylla put on a few lights make-up and rose plump lip tint to her lips. Just simple dress and make-up, she did not want to highlight herself in the crowd. Not so long after, Katrine walked into her walk-in closet without knocking and grinning happily.

"Are you ready?" asked Katy, still with her excitement while grinning but then frowning at the end. Vanylla then nodded and smiled at Katy.

"Why are you wearing that shirt?" Katy protests when she found Vanylla's usual make-up and clothes. It doesn't look like she wants to go to the club at all. Katy got into her look by putting her hands around her waist while standing frowning on Vanylla. But Vanylla smiles at Katy through the mirror.

"I don't want to highlight myself, Katy. It's just tonight anyway. We'll be back before midnight. So you want to go or not?" Vanylla replies honestly. Katy immediately frowned and pouting her lips.

"So what's the point of going to a club then, if we don't dress up excitedly!" Katy annoyingly grunts because Vanylla doesn't dress up the way she wants to. Vanylla just shook her head while chuckling.

Vanylla wore a brown baby doll tank top with ruffles in front of her paired with blue jeans that were long up to the tip of her calves. She wears black laced sandal heels, and it makes her look cute and a bit sexy. Jared and his father couldn't get home early tonight because of business at the port. So Vanylla has no problem getting out of the house.

Vanylla probably wouldn't have noticed that after tonight her whole life would have changed completely.
