Can't Help My Eyes Out Of You

"Vany, tell me what happened last night?" Vanylla just kept quiet and rested her head on the window.

"What did you tell Jared about me?" Vanylla asked eventually.

"I said you stayed with me." Vanylla nodded slowly.

"Could you tell me what happen and whose jacket was that?" Vanylla could not cry in front of Katy. She planned to hide everything that happens last night from anyone. Nobody had to know what happened. She lost everything, and it had to be a secret.

"How could you be sleeping at a hotel?" Katy kept bombarding her with questions.

"I rent a room, I was so sleepy last night," Vanylla tried to make an unreasonable excuse.

"Fine, tell me anything when you ready okay, now let's go home, I hope Jared and your father are at the office right now!" Vanylla nodded. So Katy drove her to the Wright mansion. But, none realized that King's man in black SUV followed her to make sure she safe.

WRIGHT MANSION

The whole day, Vanylla was lying on her bed after 2 hours washed. She tried to pass her sins away. When she found some hickeys on her collarbones to the upper breast, she cried again. She wore a turtleneck sweater and short pants and kept on lying until Jared came to her room.

"Hi Butterfly, are you sick?" Vanylla got up from her bed with a reassuring smile.

"No, I'm okay Jared."

"Where were you last night" he caressed her hair softly

"At Katy's," she lied and smiled. Jared smiled and held her.

"Tomorrow let's go somewhere."

"Where?" Vanylla let the embrace go

"Amusement park!" Vanylla laughed and nodded because she loves riding the carousel and rollercoaster. It would always be the place she loved the most. Jared brought a smile for her success. Although she could not sleep at night and still crying, she felt better and tried to forget about Mars.

THE DEVIL CLUB, AT NOON

"We have problems now!" Caleb gave Mars his story. He folded his hand after putting a revolver on his desk.

"Some of the west gangs bought another gun!" Mars glanced at Caleb before taking the gun and checking it.

"So they are using this now?"

"Yes, it's cheaper but targeting better than ours!" Mars checked each inch of the gun, including the bullets.

"It's Hartman."

"And who's Hartman?" Mars asked, still checked the gun.

"New supplier from UK," Mars sneered.

"Is he trying to fuck with me?" Mars stared and grinned at Caleb

"Yes, and we need to get rid of them," Caleb answered coldly.

"Do what you have to do and tell the Voltaire, I'll blow his head with my own hand if he's trying to buy from anyone else." Mars put the gun back on his desk then Caleb nodded. One of Mars's men came in and gave him a report about his mission today.

"Sir, that man had been taken care of as you ordered and miss Vanylla Wright already home safely and did not go anywhere after." Mars nodded. Caleb frowned hearing the news, since when Mars followed Wright's daughter.

"From now on, your job is following and protecting her, report to me every two hours if there's nothing suspicious," Mars ordered.

"Yes sir."

"You may leave!" the man left right after Mars allowed him.

"Why'd you follow Vanylla Wright?" Caleb asked directly after the door's shot. Mars looked at him once and started rereading his documents.

"Someone put a drug on her drink last night." Caleb nodded, but he still curious. There must be something more than that.

"So you killed the man?" Mars nodded

"What's for?" Mars frowning at him and chuckled

"Nobody's messed up with what's mine," Mars returned quickly and kept reading.

"What do you mean? What happened last night Mars?" Caleb walked approached his desk. Mars released his hard breath but did not answer.

"Mars, don't say you did something stupid!" Caleb now pushed both of his hands on the side of his desk. Mars then stared at him.

"I slept with her!" Caleb retreated his body and stood up straight put his both hands on his hips.

"Are you crazy?" Mars just quickly leaned to his chair

"You are starting a war Mars!" Caleb voice getting high

"I don't care!" Caleb shook his head, disbelieving him

"Ff Jared Wright know you messed up with his sister, he will kill you."

"Do you think I'll let him do that?" Mars chuckled.

"There are a thousand women in this city, why you slept with her?"

"Did you asked yourself the same thing when you slept with Rose?" Caleb glared at Mars but did not give a damn.

"That's not the same!"

"It is. You slept with my cousin because you wanted her I did the same way with Vanylla." Caleb could not take any reasonable reason from Mars. He declared war just a matter of time when Jared Wright struck them back in a painful way.

"You said you won't include women and children in your war, why you involve Vanylla now?"

"She's not, I'll protect her, I won't let her involve in anything I do." Caleb still shook his head. He rubbed his hand through his hair.

"I can't believe this, why'd you have to ruin her, don't tell me you start having a crush on her." Mars looked, thinking and nodding, followed by a smile.

"No, I want her, she's mine" Mars smiled at Caleb

"What!" Caleb frowned. Mars was like a teenager who had a crush on his classmate. There's no point in talking to this teenager. Caleb has to find a way so the thing he is scared of would not be happening.

PALISADE AMUSEMENT PARK

Katy and Jared just followed anywhere Vanylla dragged them. Although they were not suitable together for this time, they have to get along to make Vanylla smiled again. And it worked.

Meanwhile, the guy who followed Vanylla gave his report to Mars about them at the amusement park. Mars, who just had a meeting, exited from his office to the CEO's parking spot.

"Where you going?" Caleb asked when he saw him walking to the lift.

"Home!" Caleb frowned at Mars.

"At this hour?" Caleb saw his Rolex, and it was just 1.30 pm, the lunch hour just finished. Mars gave him a small smile before push the lift button. The glass door opened, and he got into it.

Caleb did not call him back. Instead, he closed his document, he intended to get Mars's signature on, but it seemed Mars did not want to be disturbed.

Mars arrived at Palisade Amusement Park in 30 minutes. He parked his black Maserati Quattroporte and got out of the driver's seat. After locking the car, Mars got inside the park with a formal suit, brown hair, sunglasses, and looking fresh.

Some of the visitors put glances at him when he walked. Wherever Mars was, he always attracted people. He paid for to entrance ticket and called his man. The man told him where Vanylla and her brother were.

After 10 minutes looked for her, Mars spotted Vanylla, and her friend was playing carousel while Jared was watching.
