My Baby

Vanylla felt so devastated now. She had lost everything. Everything she had guarded and owned was destroyed by a man she barely recognized. The man now came out of nowhere and held her hand so she wouldn't hurt their baby.

Even though Vanylla knew it was hers, but she felt so bad. Vanylla has no plans to become a mother for now. She still wanted to do a lot of things that a normal woman should do. Travel, have fun, have a boyfriend, or date like Katy. Yes, Vanylla has never had a boyfriend.

Back in middle school, a boy had a crush on her at school, but once Jared glared at him, he immediately, whoosh, he was gone. Well, that was her life for 20 years. The only men close to her were only her father and brother. Pathetic? Yup, sometimes she felt that way.

But now, it was more than pathetic, and she was impregnated by someone she hated. Someone who all members of his family hate are now the biological father of the baby she is carrying.

At first, Vanylla thought that Mars was just an annoying guy who only wanted to make her life miserable because she was a member of the Wright family. Moreover, she was the younger sister of Jared Wright, Mars' mortal enemy.

And the whole world knows how King hates Wright. But instead of bullying, Mars prefers to destroy Vanylla's life. At least, that's what she thought. If Mars wants to destroy Wright, then impregnating one of the family members seems to work.

But now, Vanylla saw Mars kneeling in front of her, pleading not to hurt their baby. Should she believe that Mars wasn't lying? Or did he do it as one of his maneuvers?

Mars kept trying to hug and comfort Vanylla as best he could. He did it wholeheartedly, even though Vanylla didn't seem to believe it.

"I will never leave you, Baby girl." Mars kissed Vanylla's lips gently. Vanylla, who was still sobbing a little, could only surrender while closing her eyes and crying. Vanylla even kneaded the shirt against her chest, holding back the feeling of her heart that wouldn't stop beating too fast every time Mars came.

After a few seconds, Mars just let go of Vanylla's lips. Vanylla didn't return a kiss. At least that's what she remembered. But Mars doesn't care. He just kept staring at her beautiful eyelashes.

"I'll talk to your dad, and I'll take responsibility for you," Mars continued in the soft tone of his deep voice.

'Has he gone mad? Was he that desperate for war? Can't he go a day without fighting?' Vanylla thought in her mind.

"Don't talk to Daddy. Just stay away from me, Mars!" Vanylla quietly continued to refuse.

"No, Angel. I will never leave you, not now or ever," Mars said without much thought. He was 100 percent sure that everything would be fine.

'Oh no, prince, there will be a terrible anger coming for you from my family, and you will not like it,' Vanylla said in her heart with her head still shaking. Meanwhile, Mars then took something from his dark Tosca inside pocket suit he was wearing. There was a phone that he gave to Vanylla then clutched it together with his fingers.

"Call me whenever you need me. I'm here 24 hours for you!"

Why does Mars keep making Vanylla more difficult? Vanylla was too tired to manage her heart thumped so hard, and now she had to call him too. But she didn't speak or protest. Vanylla just stared at Mars' face, a very handsome and flawless one.

"Angel, listen to me, Baby. Never hurt yourself. I promise to solve this problem. If I have to, I will take you away from here!" Mars said again reassuringly in a half-whisper while holding Vanylla's cheek.

"Where, do you want to run away?"

"If you want, we'll get out of here together. I'll follow wherever you want." Maybe Mars can talk like that very quickly because he doesn't know what he's going to face yet.

Vanylla still shook her head and continued to shed tears. Vanylla herself didn't know why she kept crying. Was it because he was starting to feel something strange about Mars or because he had a hunch that they wouldn't be able to get together?

"Stop all this, Mars. It won't work on us," Vanylla pleaded in a low voice that was so painful for Mars to hear it. Mars also feels doubts in himself, but he wanted to have her more and more every day.

"I'm sure we can do it, trust me, Angel. Give me a chance!" asked Mars again. Vanylla looked at Mars once, and the man brought his face closer, but someone appeared from behind, giving him a warning.

"Mars, we have to go. Jared is here!" the man said, then turned to Vanylla for a moment before turning away again. He was talking into his earbuds. Like he's setting something up.

"Keep this phone, Angel. Call me any time. I'll come for you." Mars held his cheek and gave Vanylla one more kiss, only a gentle peck on her lips.

"Come on, Mars, he's almost here!" the man kept urging Mars to leave. Vanylla also heard the voice of her brother Jared calling her name from the right side of the corridor, and he almost got to that place.

Vanylla then placed the results of her squeezed ultrasound scan into Mars' palm. Mars looked down at the thing then looked back at Vanylla with a smile. His smile was probably the most beautiful smile Vanylla had ever seen in her life. Before Mars stood up, he kissed Vanylla on the cheek while whispering.

"Congratulations to our pregnancy ... my beautiful angel," Mars murmured and then kissed softly. While Vanylla closed her eyes as if she was Mars' wife, she whispered congratulations on her first pregnancy.

Without wasting time, Mars stood up straight, and his lips seemed mouthed. "I Love You" as he walked backward and immediately turned his body away from the alley to the left. Maybe Vanylla saw it wrong, but it seems Mars did say that he loves Vanylla.

"Butterfly, why are you sitting here?" Jared asked, suddenly crouching right in front of Vanylla. Suddenly, Jared turned his head as if looking for something. He stood up and ran to the end of the alley. Then, he looked left and right. Vanylla thought Jared might have had a hunch that someone had been before him.

"Jared, what are you looking for?" Jared also turned to Vanylla.

"Nothing!" He then came back and helped Vanylla to her feet.

"Is everything all right, Butterfly?"

"Yes," replied Vanylla, smiling at him.

"Let's go!" Jared led Vanylla leading him towards the exit. Vanylla's eyes tried to peek for Mars, but he was good at disappearing. Silently, Vanylla put the phone in her handbag and got into the elevator with Jared.
