Transmigration

Heng looked into the mirror. It wasn't his face he saw. "D-did I actually transmigrate?!" Heng thought excitedly. He immediately started calling out the system and his cheat but nothing happened. "Huh, that's weird." Heng murmured to himself. "Maybe it has some sort of a trigger or something." With that thought Heng smiled and opened the door of the room he arrived in.

The sun blinded him so he put a hand in front of his eyes. "This is exactly like some anime opening." Heng giggled. When his eyes accustomed to the brightness he spotted.. a giant castle! No wait, that's not it. It was a normal village, completely average. "Hold up, haha, that's weird. How could my room lead to the outside?" With that in mind, he turned around.

A tiny house, no, a hut appeared. Heng nervously laughed. "Wasn't i supposed to be transmigrated as some trash noble and shock everyone with my cheat? What am I doing in this shithole?" Suddenly someone tapped on his back. "Okay, at least give me a beautiful neighbor or something." Although he wasn't feeling very optimistic. And of course, it was an average looking man. He had short blonde hair and green eyes. "Npeefm rojfmldsy lgctw" The man said to him with a straight face. Heng was stunned. "W-what is this man saying?! How am I supposed to survive when I don't even understand them??? Alright, calm down, the cheat will help, maybe I have to act cool to activate it?" Heng, however, wasn't so confident anymore. Despise that, he ran his hand through his hair and smirked. "Hey."

The man was stunned. His face paled and he ran away while screaming. After a few seconds multiple people started running towards him with some weird tools and angry expressions. "Oh fuck" Heng said. He quickly opened the door to his "room" and seeing that there was nothing there, Heng cursed and started running away in a random direction. He knew he fucked up bad this time. It should've been clear that he shouldn't try to speak in this medieval looking village. Now they probably thought he's a demon or something. Heng fortunately wasn't so naive to think he could solve the problem somehow as his pursuers didn't seem too keen on happily talking it out. Just in case he glanced back to the crowd and his face lost it's colors as he saw even more people running after him.

Heng sped up. That was a bad idea though. "Shit, why didn't I exercise before. Would that be even useful? Hmm, it appears that i got here in my previous body so I guess it wo- wait, why am i thinking about this, i should be running!" With that our protagonist got back to his escape with the little stamina he had left. Thankfully, there was a forest nearby so he could use it as a hiding spot. "This is the best thing that has happened to me since I got here" Heng thought deprecatingly. Fate had other plans though as the forest suddenly caught on fire. "What the fuck." Dumbfounded, Heng looked as the only place he could hide in started burning. He gritted his teeth and ran in. The temperature was crazy high inside and Heng felt like surrending himself then and there just so the pain would stop. When he turned around he saw the mob with the scary looking weapons. Some even had things that looked like they were taken straight out of a torture room. He slowly turned back and kept on running into the inferno without a word.
