Episode 2 - Unpleasant Incident Will Happen (1)
It's been two months since Vanessa did her duty. She should still have a lot of time to rest. But her father offer a job and it drew her attention. Compared to spending her boring time in the library. Vanessa will take on this duty. She leads a small group to infiltrate into the human territory.
With her black robe covering her face. They split up to different places. In the journey, Vanessa always glances her eyes to the left and right. His red eyes looked towards the big house belonging to a nobleman.
"The Grand Duke said that they were here." Someone beside her said with his binoculars.
"Yes, we have arrived."
It is just the easy missions. Our plan is to save vampire children. Humans have kidnapped them. Those humans kidnapped them to be a slave or servant. How dare they use the people I love? I'm not going to forgive all of you.
"Those guys definitely keep it in there. Take a look at that small house."
The guard is too many at that hunt, too suspicious. Accidentally torch of fire is everywhere. The guard moved vampire children, their hands are tied, and they wear messy clothes. Vanessa was very upset to see it and then smell some aroma.
The aroma is similar when she at the forest with Basil. She wondered what kind of this aroma. Her eyes are fixed on a small child. Brown-haired and black-eyed. His face reminded her of someone.
"No way. Is that?"
"Do you know that boy?" Her partner asked.
"No...I don't know about him."
Is just he is similar to him. But why he...? Is he a human or half-vampire? Black eyes and brown hair. He has the same characteristics as humans.
"Come with me."
"Where are we going, Miss Vanessa?"
"We'll be going to follow that carriage and attack them. Tell the others and get ready."

Her partner calls his bird's shadow contains the message and they fly in different directions. Vanessa kept staring and smiling while holding her sword.
"Shall we begin?"
The night is dark and cold. The guards are driving his buggy through the forest. They also carry weapons. One of the guards felt there was someone following them and give a signal to stop the horse carriage. He motioned to prepared their sword. Without notice, a big wind came put out their fire.
The situation becomes so dark, making the guards immediately tell the courier to speed up his horse carriage. Unfortunately, they are too late, the courier was killed in the blink of an eye. Those who attack them began to show themselves. A woman stepped forward, pulled out her sword without expression.
"That...that woman...we..."
The guard was frightened to see him. When he wants to say her name. The woman moves very fast, puncturing his stomach and whispering.
"Shut up, don't be noisy."
She took out the sword from his stomach. Her sword was stained with blood. Those guards were helpless and died at the same time.
"ATTACK THEM!"
They come to her. Vanessa just feels chilling out without fear.
"ARGH!"
Her people in black robes suddenly appeared, killing them all. The night was met by quite a lot of blood.
"Good job to all of you. Now we must save our children!"
Our vampire children look so afraid when they see us. I have approached them then talk with a warm smile.
"Don't worry. We are here to save you."
Our children are saved right now. There are ten vampire children and one mysterious boy. He's a real human, not of mixed blood. But I definitely smell an aroma that is similar when with Basil.
"Who are you, little boy?" Her partner asked the little boy.
"My name is...Varest."
Varest? Even his name is the same as him.
"What should we do to him, Miss Vanessa? He's a human. Do we have to take him way back home?"
Vanessa saw it coldy, closer, and kneel down. Her red eyes towards his black eyes. Varest is not afraid at all. Meanwhile, her partner feels cold air.
"Hahaha, you so brave. You know all the people never stare into my eyes like you."
Vanessa gave praise for his bravery. Varest confused.
"Thank you, Young Miss."
"But...it's not polite. You know?"
"I don't know."
He is so confident talking to me. Children are unique. He has attracted my attention.
"Human is a disgrace to our country. Such a shame to a human-like you. What are you doing in that carriage?"
"They misunderstood that I was a half-vampire."
All guards are misunderstood he's a half-vampire? How come?

Vampire children explain everything. Varest is protecting them during this kidnapping happened. So people consider him as a half-vampire. He's also a victim and they begged Vanessa. Varest doesn't deserve any punishment.
"So then? You protect them all?"
"We begged you, My Lady. Please don't punish him!"
It's so complicated. She asks one of her partners to open portal teleportation right now and about Varest. She will take care of it later. Now he will go with them for a while.
Those children go through the magic portal. Before they go, Vanessa and Varest stare at each other. Like anything strange, the gaze of the two of them is like making an unpleasant incident will happen in the future.
"Miss, what should we do with the corpses and carriage?"
"How dare they kidnap children. I don't want to see it again. Throw their corpses into the abyss along with the carriage."
"As your wish, My Lady."
They left Vanessa alone in that forest. Only accompanied by moonlight. Her brain was filled by a little boy named Varest. She thought Varest was a little suspicious.
"Are you also thinking the same thing?"
"About that boy?"
"Of course, he's not even afraid of you. That boy seems going to be a special person. You should pay some attention to him."
A special person or not. He remained human kingdom. If the emperor knew about him. Seriously, the emperor will kill him without further ado. I don't want the same incident again. By the way, who was the woman who talks to me? I was alone this time.
She looked confused about the person earlier. She could not see the woman's face because covered his black robe. Whatever it is, Vanessa has off guard in a moment. She bites her lips and wants to see her partner.
