Nafion

Once I heard the banging followed by thunder and cries. I rush to open the door only to have her hug me crying I hugged her back. She calmed down after a minute. I picked her up as aquarus and ashton left. I took her down stairs and placed her onto the island counter top as she looked around in awe.

"So what's your name? I'm Nafion. But you can call me naf for short. But enough about me what's yours?"

I look at her as she tilts her head confused. I get an idea. I hold my hand to my chest. " naf" she listens "mmmm…nnnnnn….N…nnna- nnaf-f" she says. I smile and nod. " I'm guessing you don't know how to speak. " she shakes her head answering my question. " you can understand! Perfect. Are you hungry? Thirsty? I have everything." She shakes her head shyly. "Don't be shy. I have fresh snow crab. Blue tail salmon. Kelp. Lobster…." She looks up as soon as I say lobster. I smile and pull out the lobster as it was still moving she humanly killed it with her hands and started eating I pull out 3 more and set them next to her as she eats.

After an hour she gets off the counter and looks around the house. I try to keep up with her as she sees a fly and starts to chase it. She almost drops a lamp but I catch it. Put it this way, I caught everything she nearly dropped.

She stood on the arm rest on the couch finally catching the fly. I help her down and she walked to the window and I open it as she lets the fly fly out. Her hand touches the rain droplets and I lifer her up as she transforms into a mermaid. " we have to get you a sun amulet." She nods ok. She starts to yawn and lay her head on my shoulder as I take her upstairs to dry off her tail. "You have so much to learn about this world. You'll love it. " once I got her tail dry she sat up sleeping so I have her lay down and tuck her in.

She held my hand as she slept and I tried to carefully get my hand free but it only resulted in her gripping my arm. She opened her beautiful ocean blue eyes tiredly with pleading for me to stay. I took off my shoes and shirt and got in bed as I pull her into me and she immediately falls asleep in my arms.

*next day*

Odina.

I open my eyes yawning as I look at the window. I find myself tangled in nafs arms. I blush softly and slip out of his arms quietly as I get out of the room starving. I look around for food I soon find a bunch of small tins with anchovies and open it and start eating. I sit on the counter as I go through 6-7 tins in a few minutes. I soon get up and stand on the counter looking for more food and find a bag with crunch type of food. I open it. And I pull out a piece and eat it only to follow by one after another. I step back only to fall into a pair of arms.

"N-naf"

He chuckled and smiled softly kissing the top of my head.

" good morning to you too."

He sits me on the counter as I offer him a piece of the crunchy thing from the bag.

"Cheese puffs."

"P-uf- puffs"

He nods chuckling. " close but I'll take it. Today your are getting your sun amulet. It will let you get your skin wet with out sprouting a tail randomly."

I nod ok as he helps me upstairs and opened 2 doors to reveal a bunch of clothes. " you can't go around with out clothes there fore I got you clothes. Get dressed and meet me downstairs." He leaves and I look at some of the things confused as I find something with 2 triangles and a string. Humans are odd creatures if you ask me...

Nafion

I waited down stairs for 30 minutes until she came down with no clothes. She threw a bikini on the ground then he crossed her arms with a frustrated, confused, and upset look on her face. I stared at her for a second. I shook it off and focused on her. " come on I'll help you but next time just ask." We head upstairs and I helped her get dressed. She had a black simple bikini with Jean shorts and a ripcurl crop top. I had her sit on the bed as I pulled out a fresh new pair of black slip on vans with no-show socks.

I helped her put them on as she stared at them. She looked got up to look at herself in the mirror and nodded ok smiling. " I'm glad you liked it. Come let's get you an amulet." We head down stairs and into my car. I had to help her in knowing it would be all so new to her. We drove around and she finds out how to put the window down. She look out as some wave height I tell her to wave hi. She gets shy and sits back. we are at a stop as I hold her hand and I hear a voice in my head "I want more Chease puffs".

WAIT! Was that?!?! "Odina we're you thinking of cheese puffs?". She nods "how did he know that?" She says.

"Odina I can hear you speak." I say

" how can that work….that isn't fair either. But at least we can talk though my mind." I smiled at her thought. I drove for 4 hours. And we soon reached the destination.

"Are you ready?"....
