Chapter 12 - 'Let oneesan do it for you as a compensation'

「I really thought earlier that the zombies apocalypse have already started. Fortunately, it's not.」

Rei said in relief, completely overlooking that more than half of the human population have already turned into zombies.

To his understanding, it can only be called 'Zombie Apocalypse' if there are zombies attacking in every places he go, like in the movies he watched.

「So what happened after you immobilized the robber, Father?」, asked Amara curiously.

「Oh, after the securities arrived, they asked me if I'm not hurt anywhere when I dealt with the robber and since I am are not needed there anymore, me and Rhian decided to continue strolling.」

Shortly after the securities have arrived to regulate the place, the police have also arrived to arrest the robber. While the cashier and the female customer went along to the precinct to give their testaments as the victims.

「But I think if not for Father urging them, then those women would never waste their time to go and file a complaint.」, said Rhian, praising her father for always thinking what is right.

「It's because mom were always reminding me to report to her if ever someone did bad to me. She said that they need to be disciplined to prevent them from doing it again even for a little. I hope I didn't bothered those oneesans instead...」

At first, the cashier and the woman said that they have decided not file a complaint and just forgive the robber. Their reason was that nothing bad happened to them because Rei swiftly saved them.

But Rei adviced them against it because it would only tolerate bad people on repeating it again.

Even though the man seemed to have a very big problem, it didn't justify him for doing something bad. And he needs to pay for his crime behind the bars even if it's just a small crime.

「I think you don't need to worry, Father. I'm sure they only initially said to drop their complaints to appear good in front of you.」, said Natasia jokingly.

Even thier mothers were always acting kind and harmonious with each others in front of thier father, but were always finding faults and conspiring against each others behind the scene, like creating a calamity at the kingdom where their fellow wife have came from, so that she would go deal with it as a princess of that kingdom before Rei finds out about it, and it would result in less attention she would get from Rei.

Fortunately, they made an agreement not to go to an extent where they would sabotage each others to make Rei hate any of his wives because they don't want Rei to feel devastated.

As Reis' group were talking, one of the store clerks have approached them, who were taste testing the confectionaries from the store where they are currently at, and she spoke,

「I, I'm sorry but it's going to take time to wrap most of your purchase.. So, would you also want us to deliver all your purchase?」

The store clerk, who looked astonished even though she already expected like this to happen, must have heard the neighboring stores offering Rei's group a delivery after buying almost all of their merchandise like what's happening in their store right now.

Currently, Rei and his daughters were in the 1st basement floor of Takashimaya after buying anything they find interesting in the higher floors. They didn't pass any store without after buying at least half of their merchandise.

And now they have just bought all of the confectionaries in this store as well. Most of the things they bought were presents for Rei's women back at Is-kai, so Rei wants those to be wrapped meticulously like souvenirs and the stores were extremely happy to oblige to Rei's demand as the wrappings are more expensive than the products he bought.

「Un. Yes, please. Amara-chan, please give the oneesan the address where to deliver it.」

Earlier after Amara and Natasia went to exchange 'some' golds in different shops because some of the shops only have limited cash reserves, they also went to rent a whole floor in a modern Onsen Ryokan(hot spring inn) here in Shinjuku, to which have made the manager really greatful since they have almost no customer due to travel restrictions.

That's why Rei's daughters are currently wearing yukatas. Though other than the colors and designs of thier yukatas, the difference between the three was that Amara wore hers slightly lose, Rhian has a waist apron on her yukata and Natasia still has her longsword which wasn't noticed by anyone even now due to their spell.

While as for Rei, he was currently wearing an open yukata overcoat with kois design, a v-neck shirt underneath the coat and a casual pants.

After Rhain gave the location of the inn they are staying and Amara payed for the confectionaries they bought, Rei and his daughters started walking to the exit of the mall.

Their next destination was the Onsen Ryokan they have rented.

As they where nearing the exit, there was a woman, who seems to be looking for someone, not far away from them and once she saw Rei's group, she hurriedly went towards them.

Rei's group have also noticed the woman and when she arrived in front of them, Rei spoke in surprise.

「The oneesan earlier? Do you need something from us?」

「... haah… haah… I, I just want… umm… to thank you again and also repay you for saving me earlier...」

After the woman was done at the precinct, she hurriedly went back to the Takashimaya to find the man who saved her earlier and she didn't find difficulty in finding him as his group was currently the talk of the whole Takashimaya mall.

「Oh, is that so? Didn't I told onee-san earlier that you don't need to worry about it? I just did what I need to do.」

「Yes but, even so… at least let me do something for you...」

The woman didn't know why but doesn't want this to be a once in a lifetime encounter with Rei. So she wants to make a reason for them to see each others again.

Remembering that Rei's group have bought anything they found interesting in this mall, she assumed them to be tourists from another city and immediately spoke,

「If, if you don't mind… would you let me tour you around the town as a compensation?」

「I don't really mind since it's already been more than a decade since I've been here but, right now we already have next destination in mind so...」, said Rei, who became apologetic in his latter words.

「Ah! I, I didn't mean it right now! It's alright if you want it to be tomorrow!」, the woman said agitatedly.

Hearing the woman's words, Rei turned to his daughters, seeking for their opinions.

Seeing them nodded, he faced back to the woman and said,

「Then it's decided. We will be relying on you tomorrow, onee-san.」

It's not like she can harm them, so Rei's daughters easily agreed. And they were also curious if the woman would really play some role in their father's life/adventure here on earth.

Although the drawback of letting a woman near their father is that there would likely going to be another woman in his life, they are already used to it since it was just a normal occurrence for them.
