CHAPTER 4 INVISIBLE MAN

The next day, Stephanie woke up at exactly six o'clock am on the dot so as to take her bath and go to the church, she went into duncan's room and found him sleeping, she tried waking him up but he didn't responded she left the room hurriedly and went to her mother's room, Stephanie could find her mother already dressed up and ready for church, she was tying her hair as fast as she could before she was already late for church, she didn't even noticed that stephanie was in the room

"good morning mom"

Stephanie greeted

"oh, good morning"

Mrs.talot replied in shock

"you are already ready for church"

Stephanie asked

"no, I'm getting ready for work"

Mrs.talot answered

"mom, you won't go to church"

Stephanie asked

"no"

Mrs.talot answered and left the room, stephanie shouted in frustration and went back to her room, she pulled all her clothes and wore a casual outfit because she was no longer going to church, she went to the kitchen and prepared macaroni.

It took one hour and thirty minutes before she finished preparing the food, she went to duncan's room and found the room empty, she searched the whole of the house but he was nowhere to be found, she went back to the kitchen and ate her food.

Some minutes later after stephanie had finished eating, she went into her room and took her phone which was lying on the bed, she opened the game called venus and disappeared.

[LOCATION :VENUS]

Ferry appeared to calyx and she looked at him confusedly, ferry was now very different in looks and so was the area

"ferry, why do you look so much different, like a mine-craft dragon"

Calyx asked with a visible confused look on her face

"you too calyx, you are completely different"

Ferry said and transformed into a mirror

"what"

Calyx shouted

"I look like a mine-craft girl"

Calyx complained and ferry turned back into his mine-craft self

"yes, this is the level whereby all living and non-living creatures are like this"

Ferry explained

"what about this place?, it is covered with bricks, sand and some animals that looks very dangerous"

Calyx asked

"this is the structure of the level two also known as bricker"

Ferry said and immediately disappeared, calyx began to walk and examine the area she began to walk without any destination and then began to hear a loud and uncomfortable noise, growl, shouts, and screech from a nearby bush, she walked into the bush and found lots of other players of the game fighting some creatures, she became scared when she saw a guy who disappeared immediately after he was attacked by a lion, she got relieved when she saw clark, she walked towards him and tapped him

"this is the time to kill creatures"

Clark said to calyx breathing heavily, without wasting time calyx brought out her dagger of frost which turned into an arrow and began to kill as many as all the creatures she could kill, calyx began to get tired after a long period of fighting and killing, she got attacked by a fierce tiger, calyx was wounded badly and had to leave the bush into the clear surface, she sat down on a brick to gain back her strength

"my weapons aren't good enough, I need new ones"

Calyx thought

"ferry, ferry"

Calyx called and immediately ferry appeared

"take me to the orb shop"

Calyx commanded ferry and immediately disappeared and appeared again in the orb shop, calyx stared at all the weapons because they were structured in brick form, calyx looked at all the weapons and immediately tapped one of them

"this is called forest whip, it will increase your skills by twenty percent, agility by eight percent and five percent of self protection, and it costs eighteen thousand orbs"

Ferry said

"please ferry, how much orb do I have"

Calyx asked

"thirty thousand orbs"

Ferry answered

"okay, I need the forest whip"

Calyx replied and immediately the whip appeared on her hand, she suddenly disappeared away from the orb shop and appeared in the mine-craft area, she stared at everywhere and saw few players fighting for their lives, she looked around in search for clark but she didn't see him, immediately a viper snake crawled violently towards her and was ready to attack

"I don't have time for you"

Calyx muttered and immediately used her forest whip to wipe the snake, the snake immediately shattered and turned into orbs which flew into calyx's pocket, due to calyx's action on the snake all the animals got attracted to her and came fiercely towards her, calyx got terrified and began to use the whip rope on the animals.

After a long period of fighting and killing, all the animals died but left calyx with much injuries, some other players who were there joined her in fighting and also sustained a lot of injuries

"how are you guys"

Calyx greeted the other players

"can't you see the scars on our bodies"

Said one of the player

"we could possibly kill you"

Said another player

"why, we can't kill each other, and by the way what are your names"

Calyx replied

"we could kill you for much more orbs, though my name is noir"

He said

"I'm yukina"

She said as she offered calyx a handshake

"what your name"

Noir asked calyx

"sorry, my name is calyx"

Calyx said with a wide smile on her face, immediately a ninja arrow flew across her face leaving a light injury

"who did that"

Yukina shouted, they waited for a while but received no response, suddenly tons of ninja arrows began to fly towards them, Noir immediately created a shield around himself and the others, immediately they saw footsteps of a human but could not see the person making the footsteps

"invisibility"

Noir whispered to calyx and yukina

"yeah, and he seems to be very orb thirsty"

Yukina said

"how can we even catch an invisible person"

Calyx muttered

"yukina what's your magic"

Noir asked

"air"

Yukina answered

"you could use your air to cover his or her body with dust"

Noir suggested

"good idea, lets do this"

Yukina said and stepped out of the shield, she immediately used her air magic to cover the area with dust, suddenly she saw a particular place which had a body shape but nobody could be seen there

"I found him"

Yukina shouted and immediately noir disabled the shield and attack the invincible person, calyx also brought out her forest whip and used it to wipe the forehead of the person, due to calyx's action the person began to glitch and became visible, without wasting time calyx screamed loudly and the invisible man got iced

"yay, we did it"

Calyx celebrated, suddenly a portal appeared beneath them and they all fell in it and appeared in level three, arriving in level three calyx tapped the yellow button on her wristwatch and bid her gamer friends goodbye.

[LOCATION :STEPHANIE'S ROOM]

Stephanie got shocked when she saw duncan sitting on her bed and staring at her with surprise

"sis, how did you appear out of your phone, and by the way what game was that"

Duncan asked with amazement.
