CHAPTER- 29

Previously,

"Sigh, I think I just made it worse."

"What? What happened?"

Earlier, when Yeong Hyun And Ji Ae where left alone to talk.

"Bo Young! Wait for me! Hey! That...." Ji Ae said and turned back to him. She looked at him being all serious.

"What is it...?" She asked.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Tell what..?"

"Seriously..? Why didn't you tell me that your dad was sick?"

"Ohh...that...I..." She didn't know what to tell.

"You don't have nay excuses don't you?"

"Yeong Hyun, it's not like that...."

"What do you take me for?"

"Hey, don't talk to me like that...you know how I treat you as.."

"Yeah..I do know how you treat me as, someone more distant than a girl who just came into your life."

"What..?"

"We have been close for more than 10 years while the girl who just came into your life is more important than me."

"Yeong Hyun.."

"You can tell her about your situation while you can't tell me? This shows how you see me as. Oh right! And that day when you tried to take your own life, was for this reason too? When I asked Yu Ah, she hesitated to tell me the reason why you took that decision. But that Bo Young? You just-!"

"Enough! Can you stop talking bad about Bo Young? You know nothing about her, so stop it. And as you said, the reason why I tried to take my own life was this but I don't know why I reached that limit. I wasn't in my right mind. That aside, You only do and tell what you feel like. Did you ever know how I felt when you-...Forget it.

"When I did what?"

"You clearly know what you did. And without knowing anything about Bo Young, don't talk about her."

"What? I am not talking bad about her. I just said that you are taking her more important than me. Can't you just inform me that your dad is sick? Is that so difficult for you to tell me?"

"I never got a chance to talk to you! Never got a chance to meet you!"

He was shocked at her outburst.

"We met so many-!"

"That 'few times' we met was like a dream to me. Whenever I meet you, I barely know what's happening around me. Do you think I'll be able to tell what's on my mind to you, when I'm in that state of mind?"

He just stood there flustered.

"Sigh, let's just go. We can't stay here for long." Ji Ae said and started leaving. They left soon.

"I did a bad thing, didn't I?"

"Hey! What are you talking about? You did a great job!" She said and held her hand tightly.

"Really?"

"Yeah..But you know, you didn't have to protect me from his scolding towards me. You guys trusted me easily. He was indirectly jealous that you are taking him less important than me. He was right too, that I am someone who just came into your life. I'm guilty that you trust me easily too."

"Don't be like that. I know how people are just by how they talk."

"Sigh, whatever. As I said already you did a great job. He deserves this. He was the one who left you just like. If you just allow me, I'll go make him get into is senses now." She said as she pretended to roll up her sleeves.

"No! You don't have to do that."

"I'm letting him alone, just because you said. And..... I really really really think he has feelings for you too."

"Aye, it's not like that."

"I'm not lying. I don't lie. The way he looked at you when he came was heart eyes. And he was obvious by being jealous. I'll make him more jealous and make him the one to confess their feelings first. I'll make him more jealous."

"For that to happen, he should have those feelings in the first place. But he doesn't.."

"You aren't believing me. You'll trust me soon."

"Okay, ok, let's go." They then went back to their classes.

Bo Young, as she was taking the supplements for writing the exam, she was thinking: "Where is my pencil case? I am sure I kept it inside..did I keep it in my locker?" she then went to her locker to look for her pencil case. She opened it and found her pencil case but she also found another thing. "What's this? Another chocolate milk carton and a note?" She muttered in confusion. "Guys! Bo Young got another milk carton and a note!" a student yelled. The students made, "OOOOOO" noise. "Can y'all stop making noises?" she said. The students fell silent. "Really? You got another one?" Ji Ae asked coming towards her. Bo Young nodded slowly being confused. "Do you have the other note you got yesterday? We should know if he/she is the same as the previous one." Ji Ae said as she was waiting for Bo Young to hand the note. Bo Young then handed the note while comparing it. "Its different." They both said. 'what is different?" Another student asked. "The handwriting." Bo Young said. "Wow, after one had the boldness to convey, others are also trying. This is freaking crazy. You're really great Bo Young.." Ji Ae showed thumbs up to her. "As if.." She said and started going to her desk. Ha Sang then entered the class. Following him the HF brats entered. "Ha Sang, good luck." Soo Ki said and placed a chocolate milk carton on his desk. Without telling anything he just took the chocolate milk carton with him. "*happy noises* he accepted it!" Soo Ki exclaimed. Ji Ae was looking at her being happy. "So this is how they must feel when you accept their gifts." Ji Ae said. "What?" Bo Young asked clueless. "Look at how happy she is after he accepted her gift. This is how the students who convey their feelings as gifts would feel when they accept their gift." Ji Ae said. "Well, they just accepted their gift. They did not tell that they have feelings for them." Bo Young said. "I know...but they just feel excited by the sight of them accepting it. I wish I could give gifts too.." Ji Ae said. "Do it. Why aren't you giving though?" Bo Young asked. "Are you crazy? I don't want to bother him. I'll just wait till the time comes."

"You don't have the courage to confess while you want me to fall in love. Do you think I'm crazy?"

"Atleast I have someone I like, while you don't have eyes on anyone"

"He-!"

Soo Hee entered the class.

They greeted her and settled down.

"Are you guys ready?"

The students were silent.

"What? ANSWER ME." Soo Hee asked jokingly.

"YES MS.HAN!" the students replied.

"Good. Now close your eyes and wish to do your best in the exam."

The students did the same as what Soo Hee said.

"Okay now. You can start after get the papers. Good luck!" Soo Hee said and instructed them to pass the papers. Bo Young turned to Ha Sang. "You better take the warning seriously." She whispered.

"You'll see it in my scores." He whispered back. They glared at each other and went back to focus. "Good luck Bo Young." Ji Ae said as she passed the paper to her. "You too."

They started their exams. Bo Young was focused on her exam just like everyone else.

~The exam was coming to an end~

"You guys have 2 minutes left. Keep your papers ready for me to collect. For those who haven't, hurry up!" Soo Hee announced.

Most of them in the class completed their exams.

~2 mins later~

"Ok now, stop writing." Soo Hee said and started to collect the papers. After collecting the papers, the students had different reactions.

"Okay, you guys worked hard. Learn for the next exams with the same spirit too! Fighting!" Soo Hee said and left the class.

"It was easier than what I thought." Bo Young said.

The class students turned to her swiftly in a wide eyed expression.

"What?"

"Yeah, anything will be easy for you, Ms.Belle." Ji Ae said.

"Why? It was easy, wasn't it?"

"Yes but no."

"Whatever, now we have only 2 exams left. Sigh, I hope it finishes soon." Bo Young said and went to get her chocolate milk carton.

"Shall we go see Yu Ah?"

"Yass."

They then started going to her class but then Bo Young was reminded of something. "Ah right!" She said and went towards Ha Sang's desk. "Where are you going?" Ji Ae asked.

She slammed the table and pointed at him. He was woken up being startled by the noise(he was sleeping obviously...)

"HOLY..What's it this time?"

"You. How did you do your exam?"

"Fine... I guess.."

"You better or else you're dead." She said and left.

"What's wrong with her?!" He said.

"Why did you do that?" Ji Ae asked while giggling.

"He took away my precious sleep, so I don't want him to take things leisurely."

"But, from how he actually pulled an all-nighter to study, makes me speechless."

"Really?" She said and started drinking her chocolate milk.

"Yeah. He isn't the type to pull an all-nighter. That actually unbelievable."

Bo Young was thinking about it while slurping it.

"I really think he doesn't want to disappoint you."

She choked.

"*Cough* *Cough* Ji Ae! Are you crazy? He always thinks about only annoying me. Why wouldn't he want to disappoint me. It's unimaginable."

"PFFT, I was just kidding, I didn't know you would choke, *laughs*" They reached Yu Ah's class.

At the sight of the duo, Yu Ah came out of the class.

"What's so funny?"

"She just blabbers nonsense."

"Hey! I didn't tell nonsense, I said something that might be a fact."

"What is it?"

"I told that, Ha Sang pulled an all-nighter, so that means he doesn't want to disappoint Bo Young who put so much effort on helping him."

"What?! He pulled an all-nighter? Really?! That guy?? Yang Ha Sang?!"

"Exactly! He even called Bo Young in the night to ask her the 'how to' for the questions in the model question paper that Ms.Han gave."

"That's totally unbelievable. Wow, I'm speechless right now. I cant believe that he actually pulled an all-nighter. I guess, he really doesn't want to disappoint you." Yu Ah added.

"As if. How is your dad Ji Ae?"

"I told you guys already, I'm just ready for anything."

"Hey, don't be like that. Your losing hope on your dad. You know how important he is to you."

"I do know. I have a hope that he won't leave me. I trust him." There was a silence. As they were going, they saw Soo Hwa in tears, running towards somewhere, with Sang Sun beside her trying to console her.

"What's going on?" Ji Ae asked. The other two just shrugged.

"But did you guys notice that Soo Hwa and Sang Sun are being rebels in the HF girls?" Ji Ae said. Yu Ah didn't know because she wasn't in their class.

"Yeah, I notice it so much." Bo Young said

"I guess, they can't handle those brats anymore." Yu Ah said.

"I know right, how did they both put up with them for these many years?" Ji Ae said.

"Years??" Bo Young asked.

"Yep, they have been together from middle school."

"Wow."

"Now, that they have grown up, they are getting back to their senses."

"Why? They became friends because they liked each other right?"

"*Scoff* Not at all, there is a reason for it."

"What is it?" Bo Young asked.

"Me." Yeon Joon whispered in Bo Young's ears which tickled her.

"What the hec- That startled me." Bo Young was about to throw hands at him.

"Just kidding. What were you girls talking about?" He asked.

"None of your business." Bo Young said.

"How did you all write your exams?" Seong Seop asked.

"We did good. What about you?"

"Same. Oh? You have it?" Seong Seop asked looking at Bo Young.

"What?" She asked

"The chocolate milk. There was only one left in the cafeteria. How did you get it so fast?" He asked.

"This was the last one?" She asked.

"Yeah, when I asked for one, they said that we will have to wait till the next break? Did you get it as soon as you came?"

"No, I didn't get it by myself. Someone else gave me."

"Someone?" Yeon Joon asked.

"Yeah.." Bo Young said.

"Bo Young, tell them the details. They wouldn't understand. Tell them that someone kept it in your locker." Ji Ae said.

"You...don't tell me that you received another one like the yesterday.." Yu Ah said.

"That's right! It's the second time, but it's not from the same person, this time it's from a different person." Ji Ae said.

"That person was fast, getting a chocolate milk which was the last one. Hmph, I wish I was fast like him or her." Seong Seop was worried about the chocolate milk.

"I think hers wasn't the last one, I got one too." Ha Sang asked as he joined the conversation late.

"This isn't the brand they give in our school."

"Oh..."

"Really?...you received another gift?" Yeon Joon asked Bo Young.

Bo Young nodded, unbothered.

"Gift? What are you guys talking about?" Ha Sang asked.

"YES!" Ji Ae said.

"This seems interesting, now they are secretly giving gifts, hereafter, they might come just in front of you to give the gifts....or even confess~~" Ji Ae said. Yu Ah and Ji Ae made exciting noises.

"Whatever, I don't care as long as I get free chocolate milk cartons everyday. And you, why didn't you get back the chocolate milk carton from me that day?" She asked pointing at Seong Seop.

"Tsk, tsk, look at you diverting the topic." Ji Ae asked.

"What are you talking about? I don't get it." Seong Seop asked.

"The day when we met in the hospital..He said that the chocolate milk was supposed to be for you." Bo Young said and pointed at Ha Sang.

"Ohhh..That. I can't get it back definitely, I would feel bad."

"That makes ME feel bad now." Bo Young said.

"Oh my, you chocolate milk lovers, we will get you another one. Don't worry." Yu Ah said

"We never asked for another one." They both said.

"*Laughs* I was just kidding." Yu Ah said.

"But wait, what do you mean by 'when we met at the hospital'??" Ji Ae asked.

"Yeah..when did you guys meet??" Yu Ah asked.

"My uncle and aunt live in the same apartment as Bo Young, you do know that right?" Yeon Joon asked.

"Yeah..." Ji Ae said.

"One day, his condition worsened. When my aunt was asking for help, Bo Young was right there. So, she took them to the hospital." Yeon Joon said.

"You didn't even tell us these happened!" Ji Ae asked Bo Young.

"I...was tired that I forgot that happened. Sorry..."

"I don't want this to happen again. Got it?" Ji Ae asked. Bo Young nodded. "So, how is your uncle's condition now??" Ji Ae asked.

"Its all good news. He is recovering totally. He can do everything on his own soon." Yeon Joon said.

"That's good to hear." Yu Ah said.

"And where did you get this chocolate milk carton? It's not the brand that our school gives." Seong Seop asked to Ha Sang.

"Why do you ask questions out of the bolt?" Yeon Joon asked. Seong Seop has a dork smile on his face.

"This? That girl gave me." He said.

"That girl? There are many girls behind you, how will I know if you say 'that girl'?" Seong Seop asked.

"Bo Young." He said even though he knew it wasn't her. Bo Young looked disgusted while Yeon Joon looked shocked.

"The hell!" Bo Young said.

"For real!?" Yu Ah asked.

"Are you crazy? Why would I give this bastard? It was Soo Ki." Bo Young said. Yeon Joon left a sigh.

"Aye, that's no fun. I thought he was saying for real." Yu Ah said. Ji Ae was just laughing at the situation.

"It's real. She gave me, I think she likes me too." Ha Sang said as if it was real.

"Are you freaking crazy?! Do you want your cheeks to have my knuckles print?" Bo Young said.

Ha Sang's eyes widened, that went with Seong Seop and Yeon Joon too.

"What? I was just joking, but not about the part that Soo Ki gave it though."

"Yeah, why do you guys look startled?" Ji Ae said.

"Hmm? N-no, it's nothing." Ha Sang said.

"So was it given by Bo Young or Soo Ki?" Yu Ah asked.

"You still want to ask? Let's go back to class." Bo Young said and started leaving. The other girls started to leave too.

"I really don't get it. I'm curious." Yu Ah still confused about the situation.

"It was given by Soo Ki." Ji Ae said.

"Ohhh...I think I was just overthinking."

"Did she really say that....? Or did I hear it wrong?" Yeon Joon asked.

"She clearly said 'Do you want you cheeks to have my knuckles print?'. I heard it too." Seong Seop said.

"Yeah...it's exactly the same as...."
