CHAPTER- 37

"Where are we headed?" She asked. She didn't know where they were going at all.

"To get dinner." He said.

"It's too early though."

"Yeah, so we have booked the tables somewhere far away." He said.

"How long will it take?"

"About 30 minutes." He said.

"Then why did you tell 7.15P.M."

"That was time for picking you up." He said.

"Ohh..Okay. And sorry.."

"For what?"

"Disturbing you by asking questions while driving." She said. He smirked.

The ride was so long. It made her sleepy.

"How long will it take?" She asked after a few minutes.

"20 minutes."

"Okay.." She yawned.

He felt a slight weight on his back. He wondered for what it was.

"Bo Young...?" He called out. There was no reply. He looked at the side mirror. Bo Young was asleep on his shoulder line.

He blushed a little and smiled. He continued driving.

They reached the restaurant. As soon as the motorbike stopped, she woke up, confused.

"Rise and shine.." He said.

"Hmm?"

"We"re here." He said as he got down and looked at her.

"Oh!" She removed her helmet and handed it to him. He kept in the bike. "Need a hand?" He asked. She hesitated, but he reached his hand out. She held his hand and got down the bike.

"Are they here?" She asked.

"I didn't ask her. I'll call her. We are already late." He  said.

"Late? I thought we were on time. Anyways, I'll text from my side too."

She took out her phone and texted : "We are here. Where you both??" But as a reply, she got a call from Seul Hee.

As soon as Eun Hyuk called Eun Mi, she attended the call.

The call between Bo Young and Seul Hee:

"Where are you both?" She asked.

"I tried telling you but you wouldn't let me." Seul Hee answered.

"I wouldn't let you tell what?"

"In the previous call, I was going to inform you that the hangout is cancelled."

"WHAT!?" Bo Young and Eun Hyuk asked in shock at the same time and looked at each other.

"Yeah.."

"Why?!"

"I got busy on my side, and Eun Mi told me that she had a meeting. So we had to cancel it."

"You should've told me then!!"

"You never allowed me to, You said, 'I know we are meeting Ms.Eun Mi' 'You don't have to be sorry' 'I know you're busy, bye' You ended the call just like that. I had work, so I wasn't able to call you back."

"*Sighs* Atleast a text-"

"I have to go! Bye! Send me a message after you get back home!"

"Hel-??" Seul Hee hung up the call.

~ Eun Hyuk and Eun Mi's conversation~

"Hello, noona?"

"Yeah, what is it? And why didn't you get back home?"

"Home?? Why am I  supposed to come home?? And where are you now? We arrived at the restaurant."

"Restaurant?? Why are you there??"

"What do you mean? Didn't you ask to pick up Bo Young and come to the restaurant??"

"Didn't you receive my message?? I said that I have a meeting to attend, so we won't be able to meet them."

"WHAT!?"

"Yeah, and I even informed Seul Hee about it, she should've told Bo Young though." Eun Mi said. He turned to look at Bo Young who was yelling, "You should've told me then!!".

"Looks like she wasn't informed." He said.

"What? Anyways, get back home safely. You have to get her home safely too. Ok, ok! The meeting's going to start! I'll hang up the call now."

"Noo-?" He looks at the phone as the call ends.

;-;-;both of them after their calls ended;-;-;

They looked at each other with defeated eyes and leaned on the restaurant's wall.

"*sighs* We just rode till here for nothing.." He said.

"We rode for 30 minutes to just go back. *sighs* Just thinking of it makes me tired." She said as she looked forward blankly and then she went towards the motorbike and took the helmet in her hand.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Aren't we going back?" She asked back.

"Do we really have to? The tables are already booked."

"Oh yeah, you're right. The place looks expensive too." She came back.

"Then what are we supposed to do now?" She asked again looking at him.

"I don't-??" He was distracted by crowds of people moving towards somewhere.

"What's happening there?" She asked.

"Let's go find out!" He said as he pulled her and followed those people.

"Huh? Wai-?!!" They kept following the people.

"Where are we going?!?" Bo Young asked again.

"I don't know! Looks like something fun though!" He said.

"But can-" He sped up even more, trying to catch up with the people.

She shook her head and kept running.

They finally reached the destination.

Eun Hyuk and Bo Young started breathing heavily after all the running.

"Can...you let go..of this now?" Bo Young asked.

"Huh..? *notices that he still haven't let go of her* Oh, I'm sorry." He said and let go, red colour spreading on his cheeks.

She rested her hands on the knees and had a breather. He did the same.

They stood up straight again and looked at the entrance. It was an arch, with many decorative ornaments in it, and a banner with 'Some kind of Fair!' written on it. Not kidding, that was the name written on the banner. Unique name, right? Anyways. Just like any other fair, there were tents with activities inside, games, food corners and many more.

"So...this is the place..?" Bo Young asked as she put her hands in her jacket, and looked at the banner.

"This is where the lead us to.." He said.

"'Some kind of fair!' The name's so...one of a kind and comical." She chuckled.

"What are you waiting for? Let's go!" He said and started to go past the arc.

"Hey! Wait for me!" She said and followed him.

She was amused by the arrangements. There was one activity tent that caught her attention. As soon as she saw it, her mind was filled with herself and her mother's memories.

Back when Bo Young was 7 years old.

It was a memory of her mother and Bo Young when she was 7 years old,  where they came to another fair, and they were attracted by a tent with full of flowers. Bo Young and her mother went towards it to look at them but the person who was incharge of it stopped them. "Do you like these???" the person asked.

"Yes!" Little Bo Young replied.

"Then you will have to play a game." The person said.

Bo Young and Hye Na(her mother's name) looked at each other with excited smile and confusion.

"What's the game??" Bo Young being her eager self, asked.

"I'll give you these rings, you'll have to throw them to the flower you want, if the flower's inside the ring, you can have it! If it doesn't get in, then you can't..." The person said.

"Bo Young, remember what I said you yesterday after the bedtime story?" Hye Na asked putting an arm around her.

"Yeah! Whatever challenge it is, try it and take it easily, even though the result would not be what you expected!" Bo Young hyped.

"So, My princess would take this right?"

"Of course! But.." She said.

"But what..?"

"But it wouldn't be fun without you, mom. Will you join me?"

"My princess's wish will always become true! Let's do this together!" Hye Na said.

"Yay! How many chances are there, mister?" Bo Young asked.

"Three chances for each flower and each player, remember that you can only play for once, i.e, if you have completed the 3 chances, you can't play again."

"Then..Shall we start? Which flower are you going to aim for, Bo Young?"

"I really want to aim for every flowers, but I have only few chances...okay! I've made up my mind! My target is Angelonia. I'm sorry to the other flowers." Bo Young made up her mind.

"Then..I choose Begonia!" Hye Na said.

The person seemed to be baffled.

"What is it?" Hye Na asked.

"The name tags of the flowers aren't placed, yet, you both seem to know their....names." He said.

They both smiled.

"Then, Shall we start the game?" Hye Na asked.

"I'm ready!"

Their game ended, and indeed they went back home with their desired flowers.

Hye Na was having Bo Young lying on her lap.

"Bo Young,"

"Hmm?"

"Today, if you weren't able to win the flowers, what would you have done?"

"Hmm...I would've tried until I won those. But the chances were limited, so I have to wait till the next opportunity. As soon as I get the opportunity, I will definitely do it until I win them!" She said as she sat up and faced her mother.

"That's my baby!" Hye Na said as she patted Bo Young's head.

;-;-;-; End;-;-;-

;-; back to the present ;-;-;

Bo Young smiled slightly at the tent but a short ache in her head made her flinch. She gripped her head in pain. Eun Hyuk noticed this.

"Are you okay?" He asked with concern. The pain stopped the time she stopped thinking about the memory.

"I'm...fine.." She said as she came back to her senses.

"Are you sure..?" He asked.

"Yeah..." She said, looking at him.

He nodded.

"Where shall we start from?" He asked.

"How about this..?" She asked pointing to the same tent, with flowers in it.

"Oh..That actually looks beautiful... let's go!" He said as she went towards the tent. She followed him.

The person welcomed them enthusiastically.

"So..what's this about?" Eun Hyuk asked.

"You see-"

"If we want any of these flowers, we'll have to throw these rings on the ones you want. There'll be three chances for each player. You can play only once. If you get them on it, you can have the flower." She said.

The person and Eun Hyuk looked dumbfounded.

"H-how did you..know..?" The person asked.

"Wait, I thought you were just uttering something irrelevant! So you were right?!" Eun Hyuk asked.

"Uhh...I just knew it somehow." She said.

"You amaze me, every time." Eun Hyuk said.

"What?"

"No...nothing." He asked.

She thought : "You said that your princess's wish would always become true. Right now, my wish is to see you. *scoffs lightly* But, you aren't even here to listen to my wish...."

"Bo Young...?" Somebody from the behind called out to her.
